“Everybody give a round of applause for Amber of Pallet Town,” the announcer calls out. You hear a roar of applause as you enter the arena. The orange haired gym leader enters at the same time. This is it. Your next gym battle. “The challenger will be allowed 3 pokemon against the gym leader’s 2 allotted pokemon.”

You throw out Carvanha, thinking that he’ll be able to take advantage of the aquatic battlefield. He takes to the water in a blur, speeding around the pool. Misty throws a Goldeen into the pool. Carvanha immediately jets toward the new arrival. Bam, a jet of water breaks the surface as the two fish collide.

Goldeen and Carvanha swim round and round trying to land a hit on each other. Goldeen’s horn sinking into Carvanha, and Carvanha’s teeth sinking into the gym leader’s pokemon. You lose yourself in the crowd, luckily Carvanha seems keen on catching the Goldeen without your guidance. You catch sight of Jack in the stands, where the two of you had sat earlier. She has her hands cupped to her mouth cheering you on. In the front row directly behind Misty, you see Blue. He still looks mad.

Your attention is brought back to the battle when the two fish swim close and splash you. You flip your now wet hair out of the way. And call out commands to Carvanha. With a hard blow, Goldeen launches Carvanha out of the water. He lands on a floating platform, knocked out and unable to battle. The enemy Goldeen is looking rough, hopefully that’s enough for your other 2 pokemon to clinch the victory.

You throw out Tingle’s pokeball, his electric typing is a great choice. You command Tingle to shoot strands of electric webbing into the water below. You can see electricity arcing through the water around webs. Goldeen jumps out of the water and fires a pulse of water down towards Tingle.

You give the command and Tingle stands his ground and launches a web under Goldeen. He takes the hit but the plan was a success. Goldeen lands on the web, and faints from the electrocution.

Misty releases a Starmie onto the battlefield. Starmie goes into a spin, flying across the surface of the water. The whirling motion clears away all the webs. Starmie’s spin doesn’t hit Tingle, but it goes into the air and fires a swift barrage of stars down at Tingle. The hit is enough to **** you to recall Tingle.

Hopefully Oddish can beat the Starmie. You have Oddish launch a volley of powders around. Starmie spins through seemingly unfazed by the variety of powders. Starmie dives at Oddish, which lands since Oddish isn’t great at dodging. Then without warning, Starmie falls from its flight path. It fell asleep midair. The sleep powder is working. Oddish uses a series of draining moves to absorb the remaining health of the sleeping enemy. As the Starmie faints, Oddish starts to glow white. The blades of grass atop her head curl over forming the crown of bulbs. She grows taller before the glowing stops. Oddish has evolved into Gloom.

“Starmie is unable to battle. The challenger, Amber of Pallet Town, is the victor.” Misty takes a series of jumps across the floating platforms.

“Congratulations, here is your badge. And they can pay you at the front desk.” She starts to walk away, and over her shoulder you catch a glimpse of Blue’s angry face.

Then the epiphany strikes. A way to rub the salt even further into Blue’s wounds. “Actually,” you call out after Misty. She turns to look at you before you continue, “I think I’d like you to eat me out.” The crowd is swept with a wave of cheers. Blue looks like his head might actually explode.

“Wow, today is an odd one. First that guy didn’t want sex and now you do.” She shrugs her shoulders and makes her back towards you. She pushes you against the waist high barrier behind you.
