Missed you

Nearing the end of the month, Spencer heard a ring at his door. Upon opening the door, he found both Jasmine and Amber who had just come back from their trip. After hugging Amber, he looked to Jasmine, noticing her baby bump. It was small but more than enough to bring the gravity of what was happening to Spencer. For a moment he stood there, his mouth agape before he touched her belly.

"I know. It's almost unreal, isn't it?" Jasmine said.

"Yeah." Tears began to well in Spencer's eyes.

"Aww. Come here."

Jasmine embraced Spencer in her arms. "Thank you Spence."

Spencer patted Jasmine's back as Amber joined in on the hug.

"I missed you guys." Spencer said.

"We missed you too." Amber replied.

Their arms parted, so Spencer lead the two inside to the couch. There, he took a deep breath before he said "So how are you two?"

"We're good Spence." Amber put an arm around her wife.

"Get up to much on your trip?"

The two women proceeded to detail the restaurants they went to and all the things Amber wouldn't let her pregnant wife do. All the took of food had Spencer hungry, and as it neared lunchtime, he said "So, who's hungry?"

"Yeah, I am." Amber said.

"Plus two here." Jasmine said with a giggle.

"Alright. Guess I gotta practice for Thanksgiving, right?"

"You better. Got big shoes to fill." Amber said.

"Don't be like that." Jasmine said.

Spencer shrugged. "Well she's not wrong."

"You'll be fine Spence." Jasmine turned to her wife. "Especially if a certain someone helps out."

Amber nods. "Oh, of course."

"Might take two of us to fill such big shoes." Spencer jested.

"Heh, probably."

Spencer then headed to the kitchen, where he prepared lunch for his guests. As they ate, Spencer asked "Do you guys want to stick around for dinner?"

"You miss us that much?" Jasmine asked.

"Just about."

"Well sure. Not like we have anything else better to do, right Amber?"

"Not at all." Amber says.
