Today was completely different! It was bitter and salty, it tasted like they mixed it using a leaky battery. Considering how many people were in spitting distance around you, you swallow your pride, and God knows what else. "Gah, fuck!" You let out, the taste lingering on your tongue so much longer than you could have imagined. At the first trash can, you toss it without hesitation. Your tastebuds are still stained with an unwanted, but bizarrely familiar flavor. It wouldn't be until much later when the gears clicked together just right.
