Mirroring

The ride home is uneventful, as you and Rachel listen to the radio for the five minutes it takes to get home. Rachel put on her usual outfit of jeans and a classy but good looking top, but you’re still wearing your clothing from last night, which very obviously spent the night on the floor.

You walk into the house, and you’re greeted by Anna and a grinning Maya. Maya giggles. “So the date went well, I take it...”

You blush, and Rachel laughs. “You knew it all along. Yes, he treated me very well.”

“I wouldn’t expect anything less from my Josh! I’ll want all the details later. I suppose you’re one of us now, aren’t you?”

Rachel nods. “If you’ll have me, yes!”

“Oh, I’ll have you all right...” Maya winks, “And Elys will be so happy! Did you know how excited she was when I told her about you and Josh? She told me we finally found daddy a mommy!”

All three girls giggle, and you groan. Rachel winks at Maya. “Great minds think alike!”

You shake your head. “Ok ladies, we’re getting distracted. Anna, could you tell me what’s going on?”

“Of course, master! Follow me, it’s easier to explain if you can see it.”

Anna leads you, Rachel, and Maya out to the outside pool area. As usual, Yura is swimming. She gives you a nod in greeting as she swims past.

The pool deck is a shambles. Chairs and other things are scattered everywhere. “Anna, what happened?”

Anna blushes and looks down. “W-well...I did, master. I was out here with Sadie this morning, and we were talking about her magic.”

You chuckle. “Sadie got out of bed before noon?”

Anna looks at you sheepishly. “I...I got lonely last night, master...”

You smile. “I understand, Anna. I haven’t paid you enough attention lately with everything that’s going on. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.”

Anna smiles. “It’s ok, master, I understand. Anyway, it’s embarrassing, but Sadie is so fun...I started playing around with her, pretending that I had power too, and...a blast of wind came from my hand!”

“You’re saying, you used magic somehow?”

Anna nods, a nervous look on her face. Rachel smiles. “Well, it’s not uncommon for a power to spring up around other magic users, and you’re surrounded by rather powerful ones. Especially with how Josh’s bonds seem to work, empowering him and those around him. Do you mind if I try to read your aura as you try casting something?”

Anna nods, and Rachel’s eyes glow as she watches the nervous maid lift her hand. “Interesting...go ahead Anna. I think I know what’s happening, but let’s make sure.”

Anna concentrates, then lets out a startled squeak as a spray of water comes from her hand! “Wha....how? What’s going on?”

Rachel smiles. “Josh, you seem to attract the most interesting people. Anna, you’re a mage, and a very special one. The polite name to it is mirror mage. Less polite would be leech mage. You draw on the power of nearby mages, and that lets you use their power, albeit a bit less powerfully.”

Anna’s green eyes go wide. “I’m...some kind of parasitic magic user?”

“No, it’s your own power, but it mimics nearby mages. Thus, mirror mage. As you practice, you’ll learn to read magic around you to understand what powers are available, and who has them. It makes it hard for mages to remain secret around you. Thus the derogatory name.”

You walk over and hug the petite maid. “This is wonderful, Anna! You always feel left out of magic stuff, now you’re a mage too!”

Rachel smiles. “I would imagine it’s your long association with Josh that triggered the growth of your talent.”

Maya giggles. “He filled you with magic cum!”

The girls all laugh as you groan again. “It was a mistake letting you all get together, wasn’t it...”

Rachel kisses you. “You love this, you can’t hide it.”

You sigh. “I suppose. I thought I was supposed to be the horny one in the house.”

The girls laugh at that. Maya grins and says, “You reached a critical mass of sexy in the house, my Josh. We’re all horny all the time now!”
