Mingle

You decide to just generally hang out in the commons. You sit down with some other guys who are eating pizza and listen in on their conversation until you feel comfortable introducing yourself. You don't make any meaningful connections, here, but you make yourself known. It feels nice to be living in a place where you can just leave your dorm at any time and enter a social area. A few people learn your name, and you learn their names. If there are any social events coming up, they may consider inviting you.
