Mindy Get's Her Kiss Before Nicole Returns

Kenny and Mindy lightly jogged through the lodge until they reached the large den, a massive fireplace sat in the center of the room with chopped wood stacked right next to it, "You know, being so rich, I'm surprised this fireplace isn't automatic." Kenny pointed out while he and Mindy both started grabbing some wood, "You know, just one flick of a switch and boom, a nice roaring fire,"

"True, but I like this so much more, where the fun of starting a fire if we don't get to start it ourselves?" Mindy joked back as she watched Kenny start positioning the wood before scraping off some of the dried back for kindling, "So...fun day?" Mindy asked while crossing her arms,

"Yeah, I had a good time," Kenny nodded, "What, you didn't?" He asked with a quick glance back,

"Well the skiing was fun, but have to see you and Nicole making lovey-dovey eyes all day made me sick," She honestly replied, though she made sure to play it off more as a joke,

"Sorry about that," Kenny chuckled, "It's just really nice to have a girl treating me this way," Kenny explained, unknowingly hurting Mindy as she felt she always treated Kenny that way, "Obviously, I don't know exactly what we are but Nicole was right...this is fun,"

"Sweet," Mindy nearly grumbled out while tossing Kenny the zippo and moving to the large couch, turning on the TV so their conversation would end. Kenny watched his friend as she did all this, confused at her sudden mood shift, perhaps she was just cold? Kenny didn't have any other ideas to why Mindy's mood shift, so he quickly went back to lighting the fire.

Kenny got the fire going within a few minutes and happily got up, walking over to the couch, sitting down next to Mindy, "And just like that, fire is started," He said with a large smile to his mostly ignoring friend, "Proud of me?" Kenny teased slightly,

"Completely," Mindy dryly replied, not taking her eyes off the television,

"Hey," Kenny's soft voice said as she felt his arm start to wrap around her, "What's wrong? What'd I do?"

Mindy's eyes shut as no matter how upset or jealous she was feeling, having Kenny's arm wrapped around her felt perfect, "I-I just..." Mindy sighed while she felt a small swelling in her chest, "I'm jealous or whatever," She admitted causing Kenny to cock his head,

"What? Mindy, you don't think I'm gonna stop hanging out with you just because of Nicole do you?" Kenny guessed causing Mindy to internally thank him for giving her a fake reason to use,

"Kinda, I mean most of today you were just hanging out with her," Mindy truthfully replied,

"I'm sorry..." Kenny said while letting out a slow exhale through his nose, "I was trying to split my time up, not leaving either of you alone for too long, I guess I fucked up."

Mindy bit down on her lower lip, she didn't like the feeling of putting Kenny down for just trying to spend time with someone that made him happy. "And I-" Mindy started to say, nearly admitting everything to him, only to stop dead as the object her affection turned and looked directly at her, "I...I'm still jealous that you got your first kiss and I still haven't," Mindy finished as she became fixated on Kenny's eyes,

"You haven't? But prom night, you went with that guy from your art class," Kenny asked with a cock of his head,

"And you went with Brian's sister, Rachel, you didn't get kissed, why would I?" Mindy replied, a bit playfully but still a little bitter,

"Yeah," Kenny nodded with a half smirk, "Mindy," Kenny sighed, "I'm sure you'll get your first one soon, I mean we're about to start college soon, and that's where our lives really begin,"

"Can you just do it?" Mindy finally asked, to the surprise of them both,

"Wait, what?" Kenny stammered back, "What'd you say?"

Mindy's eyes were wide, unsure of how she was able actually to ask that. "I...I was-could you be my first kiss?" She asked again, this time gulping nervously,

"Why me?" Kenny asked back, his eyes as wide as hers now,

"Just because...you're my friend or whatever, and I know that I wouldn't have to feel weird doing it. I trust you and shit, so...would you?" Mindy asked looking a bit hopeful, "I just want to know what it's like,"

Kenny let out a slightly shaky breath, his mind jumping around from confusion, worry, understanding, and even how Nicole would take this, "I-Okay, I guess," Kenny slowly agreed causing Mindy's heart to start beating rapidly,

"Okay," She repeated back to him while sitting up slightly,

"Right now?!" Kenny nervously exclaimed while Mindy let out weak nod back,

"Why not? It's just a kiss, and I really want to know what it's like," Mindy pressed, not wanting to lose her chance,

"Uh...okay," Kenny nervously agreed while leaning forward. Mindy's eyes drifted shut, and she nearly shook in anticipation. Kenny very slowly started to press his lips against Mindy's', Fuck, this is weird, why does she want me to kiss her? What if Nicole catches us? Kenny asked himself as Mindy tentatively started to kiss her crush back,

Finally, Kenny, oh my god, finally. Mindy internally said in relief as she tilted her head to the side when their noses bumped, I've waited so fucking long for this, and now it's happening! I...I don't want it to end, Mindy continued to think while she carefully brought a hand around Kenny's back, her mouth starting to open slightly as she instinctively pushed her tongue out.

Mindy?! What the fuck?! Kenny exclaimed as he not only felt his best friend's tongue push into his mouth, but her hand rest on the back of his head, lightly gripping on to his hair. As Kenny sat unsure of what to do Nicole came walking down the stairs. She entered the room and froze as she saw the pair making out, instantly started to feel a touch of jealousy. Kenny, not even seeing Nicole, lightly put his hands on Mindy's shoulders, pushing her back.

Mindy let out a very soft whine as Kenny did this, "Okay, there, you got your first kiss," Kenny awkwardly said, unable to look Mindy in the eye,

Mindy nodded back as she felt herself starting to blush, perhaps she went a little too far with the kiss, she wanted something that passionate but Kenny didn't think that's what he agreed to. "T-Thanks Kenny, that was...that was nice,"

"Good," Kenny weakly smiled back, quickly flashing his eyes back up at Mindy. "I mean, with the way you kissed me it's like you were planning on that happening," He joked out causing Mindy to laugh with him, not wanting to make the situation any awkward by telling him he was right,

"Sorry about that, I just-" Mindy tried to explain through a lie,

"It's fine," Kenny assured her while taking in a slow breath, "When Nikki kissed me earlier, I didn't know what to do, but yeah, I get it's an intense feeling,"

"Yeah," Mindy lightly laughed back, feeling a bit of disappointment that she missed sharing Kenny's first kiss by only a few hours, "But, you're right, I was just...I didn't really know what I was doing, I just kind of did it,"

Kenny nodded back and put his hand on Mindy's knee, "It's okay, I know I'm amazingly good looking, and you just can't help yourself," Kenny joked, breaking the awkward tension between them. Mindy let out a quick laugh, knowing that was nothing but the truth, "Now, where is Nikki?" Kenny sighed while slowly turning towards the girl,

"Right here, Ken," Nicole happily said, speaking just before he saw her, "Just finished changing,"

"Oh!" Kenny smiled while he looked at the girl wearing a tight-fitting black tank top and a pair of dark blue jeans, "Well, I got the fire going," He replied as he watched her walk over and plop down on the other side of him,

"I see," She smiled before letting out a small yawn and laying the back of her head down on Kenny's lap while letting her legs hang off the side of the couch, "So, what should we do while we heat up?" She innocently asked him in turn while Mindy narrowed her eyes at the girl,

"TV?" Kenny shrugged back while looking up at the giant flatscreen hanging above the fireplace,

"Sounds good to me, hope you don't mind if I end up falling asleep though, I'm pooped," She grinned back while lightly nuzzling her head on his legs, "And you're real comfy,"

"Glad to be of service," Kenny joked back while he reached over and grabbed his remote, "Mindy, what do you want to watch?"

"Whatever you put on will be fine," Mindy sighed back while she let herself lean back on the couch, "We love the same things so,"

"True that," Kenny nodded back as he turned on the television, unaware of the two jealous girls nearly hanging off his every word.
