Mind Projection

How it works: By making physical (skin-on-skin) or unobstructed ocular contact (within 50 feet) with your target, the target's mind is configured to match your own. In layman's terms, the target inherits your memories and pattern of thinking, while keeping their own base personality. Similar to activating your power, ocular (within 50 feet) or physical (skin-on-skin) contact reverts your target to normal, losing their gained memories and altered pattern of thinking, although with three main side-effects. Firstly, you will inherit all of your target's memories they experienced for the length of their alteration. Secondly, your target will be disoriented and confused for a brief period as their minds construct excuses and reasons for their actions during their affected period. Thirdly, during this period of disorientation and confusion, your target will be highly susceptible, both mentally and physically, to your influence for a brief period.

Limitations: Activating and deactivating your ability requires physical and ocular contact. Physical contact requires skin to touch skin, clothes will block the ability. Ocular contact is limited to 50 feet and cannot be obstructed, objects such as glasses, contacts, windows, or anything of the sort will block ability activation and deactivation. However, blindness will not block your ability, as long as at least one eye is still intact and connected to an ocular nerve. Furthermore, your ability can only safely be active on seven targets at once, any over that limit will suffer side effects, such as fragmented memories or split personalities, to name a select few examples.

An Example: You touch a woman, Jane Doe, on her hand and activate your power. Instantly, she essentially becomes a mental copy of you, albeit with her own personality and memories as well. For instance, she can recall things such as her address and yours, but with your way of thinking mixed with her personality. So, she would still be "Jane", but an altered version. After a day apart, you deactivate your ability on Jane, gaining her memories of the prior day. With Jane disoriented, you tell her that she is deeply in love with you and is now a brunette. Once she has mentally recovered, her mind and body are convinced it is a fact and change immediately. Jane will continue to be madly in love with you and be a natural brunette until you activate and deactivate your ability once more and tell her otherwise.

Variants

"Settings" Projection: In short, you're able to alter the "settings" of anything, including yourself, with a medium, such as a smartphone application. For instance, perhaps you'd like to change your genitalia "settings", like its size, amount, or type. Or perhaps you'd change the "setting" of how people introduce themselves to you, opting to have sexual relations with you instead of a handshake or a greeting.

Divisible Power: All the 'yous' can project a few 'sub' copies of themselves, however, this can only be done up to 3 times per 'chain'. Like Alex could spread her copies to her 3 friends, or she could spread her copy to 1 person, and then that person could spread 'their' copy to 2 more people. The major weakness is that each 'clone' copies their mind, diluting the influence the 'you' has on their mind. Similarly, it makes the 'strength' weaker, so your copies would make fewer changes than you can. You still have full authority, however, and can recall/reject them. (Max is 29 people in total, including derivatives copies)

Psychic Link: Your projections are connected to you. You can't recall them from a distance, but you are aware of where/who they are, what they are thinking, those sorts of things. When you are close to them, you can also siphon information from them, allowing you to access what a target knows, though this can have side effects. They can also communicate between each other, reducing confusion over who has been 'targeted'.

Complete Projection: Beyond just projection a 'copy' of yourself, you are able to send your mind in its totality, leaving your body with the 'copy'. This also means that if your body were to be killed, you'd be safe in someone else's body. This also lets you directly distort the target's mind, due to your personality taking 'complete authority' over them. The body's owner still exists, but you can eject them into another body, kinda like a body swap. Careful though, they take their memories with them if you do so.

Body Projection: Essentially a purely physical variant of the mainline ability. Rather than afflicting your targets with your mind, you give them a copy of a body part, or your body entirely, of your choosing, either in addition or as a replacement. For instance, you could cause someone to look identical to you, or give them a third arm (the third being yours rather than theirs), or whatever else you would please.

Absolute Normalcy: Activating your ability on someone causes them to believe the actions you take towards them as normal until deactivated. For instance, using this ability on your mother makes her believe that sexual relations with you (her son) is perfectly normal, if not actively encouraged.

Acceptance Camera: A camera that follows five simple rules. 1: The "User" is defined as anyone who presses the "Record" button and will remain as such until the recording ends. 2: Not everyone filmed necessarily counts, only if they are in focus and/or take up a majority of the frame. 3: Any individual filmed with this camera will accept any request, reality bending to make it possible if necessary, that the "User" makes. 4: The more clear and well-defined the request is, the more willingly those recorded will accept. 5: The actions and effects of the "User" and those recorded will be seen as perfectly normal by any bystanders and those recorded, even after the recording ends.
