Mike, a stepdad

Eros arrived down in a suburban street, where each property looked the same. Deciding to investigate, he flew into one of houses, hoping to find someone to mess with.

"Why don't we play with a football outside?" He heard a voice say.

Entering the room, Eros observed two men in a darkened room. One was a tall, brawny figure. In his late 30's, with a body that probably played sport for years, but has worn a little from age. The other was a tall, but scrawny figure. In his late teens, maybe early 20's, he seemed to be disinterested about the older man, playing video games instead.

"Look Mike, I don't really care for any of that." The scrawny one said.

"Will, come on," the older one, Mike, look frustrated, "Your college break is nearly over and we've done barely anything together. Your mother wanted us to have some sort of relationship by the time you went back."

"And I've said," Will rolled his eyes, though still focused on the screen, "Pull up a controller and we can play something."

Mike shook his head.

"I don't know why I try."
