Chapter 10 by latexdoll latexdoll

Shopping in hell?

Might as well, you are here.

Stepping outside of the heavy oak door you are instantly shown the truth of her statement. Walking toward you is a 7' gray granite like skinned hulking humanoid creature with a mouth full of pointed teeth over an inch long. It is both hairless and naked, yet while looking clearly male, it is apparently sexless as you don't even see an opening let alone some sort of cock. It's red eyes glow deeply as it looks you over and licks it's lips. But to your surprise it simply walks passed you, pulls up a key, and enters one of the rooms down the hall. Just another guest at the inn, apparently. Heading the way the creature came, you go around the corner and down the stairs. The thing that first really kind of surprises you is how little noise you make walking, you would have thought with heels on wooden floor and stairs you would hear a clack or something but you seem to naturally walk quietly.

The stairs end at a door and a desk with a nearly naked woman with reddish skin, almost scaly, also hairless, but still very attractive and curvy. She smiles up at you from her seat and says, “I hope you enjoyed your stay, your bill was paid in advance so you are all set. Can I get you anything?”

“Nothing thanks.” You say as if it was the most normal thing to be talking to some kind of monster or demon and walk out the heavy front door.

The dry heat of the air outside assails your lungs as you step outside, but your ring keeps you comfortable. There isn't a sun visible but the air glows a reddish hue, the walls of all of the buildings seems to be stark black and gray iron. The road below similarly is iron but only a foot or so on the sides of the road are solid, the rest of the road appears to be a grating of interconnected crossed iron bars, from below you can hear the soft wailing and suffering of some poor tortured souls baking in hell. “Oh fuck I'm really in hell.” Is all you can say. Instantly leaving seems to be the only thing you should be doing right now. Your eyes dart right and left and you spot several signs on the sides of buildings that would indicate they are some sort of business, the one you came out of being “The inn of the coven.” 'How nice.' You think. Sure enough two buildings to your left you see another sign, “Sean's armorments.” And a drawing you are pretty sure is a lever action rifle. “That must be the place.”

Heading there you are hesitant to step on the grating, preferring to stick to the edges where the ground is solid, but several times some huge humanoid is walking toward you that doesn't seem to have any interest in moving out of your way. The total distance is less than a hundred yards but you encounter at least two dozen humanoid creatures of all sorts, wings, horns, scales, odd colors, tails, and even tentacles from the face of a blue skinned creature tell you clearly that humanity is clearly in the minority in this place, but you do see what you can only guess are fellow humans. Sadly 90% of these are clearly slaves, so there's that also. Yet as you are simply strolling along with no clear weaponry, several creatures actually give you the right of way and move aside for you. By the time you open the door to the store most of the fear you had has melted away. You can't say if it is something that this new body of yours is granting you, or just everything together that has steeled your nerves, but as you pull your way into the store you have a little grin on your face.

The shopkeeper is standing behind a glass case full of what looks like 2 revolvers, a muzzle loaded pistol, and one large one small pair of semi-auto pistols. The man behind the case seems to be human with short neat black hair and a short neat beard. He is dressed in a simple white shirt, pants, and a black work apron over it all. “What can I help you with miss?” He asks with a welcoming grin.
