Michael Corner

He was just sitting beside me, so it was easy to interact with him. His focus was on Moody as he tortured a spider.

"Michael," I whispered. "I need a favor." I saw his eyes shift towards me, but he kept his focus on what was going on.

"What do you need Idius," he asked?

"I need you to distract the whole classroom for a minute," I said, "I think Moo-."

"Got it," said Michael, "might as well start detention early." He didn't even need to hear an excuse of why. That was a friend right there. Michael cleared his throat quickly, and after a big inhale stood up.

"Wow," said Michael, soon the whole class had their eyes on him as he walked up to the front of the room.

"That little spider is screaming and everything," said Michael, "that's wicked."

Moody looked at him in confusion at first.

"Now Mr. Corner," Moody said, "go sit down."

"Naw, I want to try doing the curse too," said Michael. The classroom gasped as Michael pulled out his wand, and aimed it at the spider. Again Moody was stunned.

"I like your interest Mr. Corner," said Moody, "but I can't have students throwing around unforgivables. Dumbledore would ave me arse."

Still Michael held up his wand and flicked it wildly.

"Confusious," Michael exclaimed.

"It's Crucio," said Professor Moody, "but don't say it."

"Say it," said Michael, "all right professor, Confusio."

I used the moment to pull the flask from Professor Moody's pocket with my wand. And slowly as he wrestled with Michael's wand I opened the top and turned it over. The fluid fell to the floor, and slowly I put the flask back in his pocket. I dragged the fluid back to me with very sensitive wand work. And put the fluid in my own pouch.

"I know you are just being really interested in my course Mr. Corner, but I have to give you detention for the confusious, I mean the Crucio curse," said Moody.

Michael sat back in his seat, feigning disappointment.

"Was that good," said Michael?

"Perfect," I said.
