Mia 3: Mia is convinced... partially

Mia envisioned herself pushing the chair along the sidewalk, with the wheels gliding smoothly and having an alright time getting around. But then Vision Mia’s clumsiness punishment flared up as she crossed a crack in the sidewalk one house before making the full trip, landing on her cheek, sideways, tied to a chair, right in front of Mr. Cute Neighbor’s house. He was outside, watching the whole thing. Rolling by him was already way too embarrassing to explain, but then Vision Mr. Cute Neighbor came to help her up, and Vision Mia melted into the sidewalk in embarrassment so she wouldn’t have to explain herself.

“Alriiiiiight, you win. We won’t do the…” said Mia, snapping her fingers to try to remember the name Sophie just coined. “...Great Chicken Gambit!” she said once she remembered. Mia then paused and said, “But…”

Mia dramatically placed her new challenge card into the discard pile as she finished her statement. “...I’m still not doing this one.”

Everyone gasped in unison, even the game itself gave out a reaction of sorts as three cards popped out of the board simultaneously.

P’TIIING!

“Duuuude are you kidding me? That challenge was so easy!” asked Faith.

Sophie just face palmed, shook her head, and said, “Well, at least there’s three of us playing…”

“SMH my head…” mumbled Lucy as she shook her head as well.

Mia didn’t know what that meant, but she could tell it was negative. She didn’t appreciate her roommate piling on more criticism.

Sophie DID understand and found this nerd’s goofy always-online lingo to be pretty cute.

Faith nodded and pointed toward both of the others in solidarity, then she flapped her arms and made classic chicken clucking noises.

Mia ignored them all and leaned in to read her options.

The three punishment cards were titled ‘Hands-on Collision’, ‘One-way Ticket’, and ‘Positive Patty’.
