This started partially as a test of how much ChatGpt knew about various media, and partially because an AI story was a good start on how to write. The story was nearly 100% AI, with me coming in occasionally to fix something.
The original input was this, following in line with a prompt by D12, for their Konosuba story (KonoSuba: Devil's Blessing on this Bad End) for inspiration:
Write a story set in RWBY universe, where Salem has captured the huntress team RWBY, consisting of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long.
Salem used her vast powers to twist her captives to fit her designs. The Grimm Queen began with Ruby as she realized that Ruby posed a threat to her existence with her silver eyes. By tampering with her essence, she managed to twist her mind. As a result, Ruby became Salem's loyal and devoted secretary/bodyguard, using her abilities to a terrifyingly effective degree, in service to her master.
As for Weiss, Salem saw her potential in using Dust, but she found her personality to be grating. Using her vast powers she suppressed Weiss' Personality and changed her form to suit her new purpose. From now on Weiss was just a living doll containing a near endless supply of Dust.
Next, Blake Belladonna amused Salem, with her Faunus traits making her think of having a pet. Thus using her dark powers, she rewrote Blake's mind, making her believe she was nothing more than a pet cat of Salem, one that was surprisingly doted upon, dressed in cute clothes and provided with cat toys that with her new mind she played with enthusiastically.
Lastly, Yang Xiao Long warmed the heart of the once maternal Salem. While her own children were killed several hundred years ago, the sight of Yang's fierce spirit and near magical feats of strength and capability with fire reminded her of her own children. And so she rewrote Yang's memories of the past, removing her memories and Summer and Raven, her actual mother's, her relation to Ruby, her sister, and instead instilled into Yang memories of Salem, a blond woman just like her who suffered a magical curse that transformed into the grimm-like creature she was now. Yang now believes that Salem is her doting mother.
There is no hope for them at this moment. Instead go in depth describing how they were captured, their transformation into their new forms, and lastly their new roles and routines.
I_ _found that ChatGpt tends to be better at accepting concepts first and then building onto those concepts with actions or 'surprise developments' later. For instance, writing a prompt where a wizard is sanctioned by the kingdom to experiment with magic since not much is known about it and having people willingly volunteer despite the risks, allows for the AI to accept more wild things to happen since its established the magic is unknown and might have side effects and the participants are willingly volunteering to be experimented on. It'll try to keep you in sfw, but eventually you will be able to bypass it by claiming it was a side effect of the concept.
