Mercury returns

"Ahem" Jaune heard from behind. The two of them turned around to see Mercury there.

"Oh. Hey Mercury. This is Jaune." Emerald said with a smile.

"Yeah. I remember. We bumped into him in the hall." he said plainly.

"Take a seat and chat with us!"

Emerald began going on, asking questions about how Beacon worked, since she hadn't actually had any classes here yet. Mercury began getting impatient. He grabbed Emerald by the arm.

"Em. Come with me."

He pulled her away as she struggled.

"H-hey! I'm talking to-- woah!"

Jaune was curious, leaning in a bit to try to listen. Mercury was laying into her pretty hard, but in a hushed tone. He considered using the book again to get rid of him, but he was clearly very protective of Emerald based on this. Maybe he really did have feelings for her like she said...
