Mera understands that she is affected by Eternicus and demands that he stops it. Meanwhile a Wonder is happening in the Orbit

Mera looked down on the soldier in front of her. The guard lay on the Floor in front of her with his pants down and was just as knocked out as was Arthur. For a moment she was angry that the guards didn't have the stamina anymore, but it felt strange to her. For a moment her lust was satisfied and so she retreated to her chambers and lay down next to her sleeping husband. He still lay **** in her marriage bed and she cuddled up gently against him. It just felt good to be so close to him. But something disturbed her, something she could hardly describe. When the two woke up in the evening they kissed each other softly and Mera smiled when Arthur pointed out that her suit tightened a little. Turning in front of the mirror she only now realized how much she had changed. It was not an unpleasant change but the woman in the mirror was clearly... different. More bust, fuller lips and her eyes seemed to glow from within. To her astonishment, her husband the king was not at all happy about this change.

"What bothers you, Arthur? Don't you think I am beautiful?" she asked insulted and sulked, but Arthur shook his head.

"That is not it. I'm just afraid this visitor has had as much effect on you as he has in Metropolis. You must be careful."

"What exactly happened there? I think he saved your upper world friends?" she asked, amazed and curious.

"That's... That's about right. However, his intervention had an unusual side effect on the people of Metropolis. The League was also partially affected by this side effect, though not to the same extent as the humans due to their meta-skills."

"I think I should refresh my knowledge of these incidents you describe. Do you think he's a threat?"

"I do not know. He doesn't seem hostile or vicious to me. However, we cannot deny that his power is terrifying. In any case, we should be careful and find out more about him first. It won't be long before the League asks." The King said most assuredly and Mera closed her eyes for a moment to consider his words. There was no denying that his words contained some truth, but she had spent more time with the dragon. She was sure that he was no active threat and didn't want to harm the people of Atlantis. However, she was the queen of Atlantis and had to follow the ancient laws. Besides, Arthur, even though he was not a purebred Atlantean, had shown good intuition and sensitivity.

"Does my king wish me to stay away from him?" she asked, and he gently stroked her cheek.

"Dearest Mera. I would never ask you to do such a thing, for I can think of no one better who could gain knowledge of him. Besides, he seems to tolerate your presence, which cannot be said of everyone. I only ask you to be careful."

"I will, dearest!" she said and kissed him gently. After that she went to the Magic Academy and retired to her study. But for what she was about to do, she didn't need magic. The technical possibilities of Atlantis were centuries ahead of those of the upper world. It was easy for her to receive messages from the upper world. However, what she saw was strange, even to the surface world. On many stations of the Upper world there were still reports about an impressive fight in Metropolis where a large part of the League of Justice had been in action.

During one of these reports Mera was shown pictures of a being called Parasite. A quick search revealed that this creature was quite dangerous. Apparently, Eternicus had destroyed it. This again did not surprise her at all. After she had seen him in his true form, she knew that there was no creature on this world that he could not overcome.

However, the report also mentioned a white light that had brought the dead back to life. Another miracle and a sign of his power. But this light seemed to have a side effect. Reports indicated that the people had been transformed. For several days they had been much younger, stronger and more handsome. And immediately after the battle, spontaneous orgies had apparently taken place throughout the city. The reporter apologized for the fact that the station would not show any pictures so as not to confuse the people. Also, the station was not allowed to show pictures of such pornographic situations.

Thoughtfully she remained sitting in her room and tried to think about all this calmly and objectively. Her eyes fell on her right hand. Thoughtfully, she looked at her in a catchy way and then the realization came to her. Angrily she crushed a wine goblet of pure gold and jumped up.

"ETERNICUS!" she hissed angrily and swam from the academy towards the library. No sooner had she arrived than she ordered those present to leave the library before she swam alone through the rows. It wasn't long before she found Eternicus sitting on the floor reading a book. When he saw her, he stood up and looked surprised when a compressed wave of water moved towards him. This mighty **** made its way through the corridors and hit him with immense ****. When the wave broke on his body, he tilted his head and looked at the Queen.

"Queen Mera?" he asked calmly.

"How dare you! I believed your word!" cried Mera angrily and threw four water spears at him, but they bounced off his outstretched hand just as ineffectively.

Although Mera was furious, she realized that her own power could not keep up with his. However, he made no offensive gesture against her and so she clenched her fists and just growled at him angrily.

"Would you please tell me what you are talking about, Queen Mera," Eternicus asked again and smiled politely.

"You tried to change and manipulate me just like the people in Metropolis!" she hissed and saw his face relax a little. Almost like he now understands what she was talking about.

"Ah. You mean this."

"THIS! You made me cheat on my husband! WITH GUARDS! With simple GUARDS! I AM THE QUEEN OF ATLANTIS! I BELONGE TO A BLOODLINE THAT IS ANCIENT" she shouted angrily, hurt and immensely disappointed. Only now she realized what she had done. Both times she had betrayed Arthur, it was shortly after she had been close to Eternicus and had been exposed to his power.

"I beg your forgiveness, Queen Mera. This was never my intention. I didn't mean to make you do anything you didn't want to do. If you will allow me to explain?"

Mera raised an eyebrow and built wall after wall of magical infused Water between them. Hoping that these magical barriers would protect her from him, she nodded, but kept her distance.

"Your magical powers are impressive, but they will not protect you. However, I will try to explain." he said calmly and sat back down on the floor. After he had closed his eyes he continued. "What you experienced was my true nature. As you have surely understood, my children are each an aspect of me."

"There are seven aspects," she said, and saw the first real surprise on his face. "I am aware of the Lantern Corps in the universe. Don't take me for a fool!"

"You have an active mind Queen Mera. I confess I am impressed. Yes. However, those Lanterns are but a shadow of my children. I, however, am, unlike them, something else. In me, all these colors combine to form the last two colors, if you will."

"What do you mean? Two more colors? Until now you have always been wrapped in a bright white?" Mera asked still suspiciously.

"This is the color of life, of creation and growth. The other color is dark and black. The light of ****!" he said calmly.

"You mean to say that you can kill to the same extent as you... What have I done?" she asked in panic. The thought that he could easily wipe Atlantis from existence was just horrible but Eternicus just raised his hand and his shining armor turned pitch black. His hair and skin became dark as well, to the point where she could no longer see any contours. It was like staring into a black hole. But she couldn't see any suffering or anything like that in it.

"**** is a natural part of life. "Everything that lives must die, and everything that dies has lived before. "**** is fair, it is honest. It seeks the strongest as well as the weakest. No one, no matter how powerful, is equal to ****. But **** is nothing to fear. It is a transition from one state to another." Said the formless darkness before her, becoming the Eternicus she knew again.

"You... are the yin and the yang!"

" Pardon?"

"The good and the bad. It is a philosophy that exists both in Atlantis and in parts of the Upper world."

"An interesting idea, but no. I am neither good nor bad. I am simply a **** for life as well as a **** for ****. Yet you mortals are unable to comprehend this." he sighed sadly.

Mera pondered briefly and pondered over her words. Not everything he said made sense, but she thought about his words. "I think I understand what you mean. You are nothing like what I think, for I am mortal, born and raised in a world that has certain prejudices. I fear **** and do not always understand life... but you don't just live or kill... you are simply life and ****."

A gentle clap tore her from her thoughts and she saw him smile.

"I must confess you're a very interesting person, Queen Mera. No one has ever come so close to the truth." He said proudly. "But let us return to your desire. My appearances, my bodies, if you will, are shaped by my power. ...and this has some influence on everything around me.

"So, you radiate horny rays that turn me into a woman who can no longer fit into any clothes?" she laughed incredulously, and Eternicus laughed with her.

"No. As a matter of fact, I radiate a power that cures your diseases, strengthens your bodies and brings you to the peak of your possibilities. Life is chaotic, however. It's quite possible that the energies you take from me may take unwanted paths."

"What does that mean?"

"In my travels, I once met a kind of ape-like creature I observed them for some time and some of them began to change. They became more intelligent than their conspecifics and learned to use tools. You know what I'm getting at?"

"You... created our race," she asked incredulously.

"No. I create nothing, if that's what you mean. This is not my purpose. However, life flourishes in my presence. It is not happening according to any greater plan of mine."

"So, you have not willingly made me... but why... I love my husband! I love him more than anything! I have never betrayed him." She suddenly sobbed as she began to understand.

"All I can say is that life has a mind of its own. You may never have cheated on your husband, but you have felt unsatisfied, physically and mentally. Even I can see that, and I don't really understand you two-legged creatures. But I... understand you!" he smiled. "You may never have betrayed him, but my power has had an influence on you that has removed your inhibitions."

"Life knows no guilt..." she said, looking down. When she looked up again, her eyes were sad and Eternicus knelt before her.

"You are an impressive woman, Queen Mera. I shall give you a gift." He said calmly, leaning forward.

Mera was completely stunned that his beautiful face was so close to hers. His lips lay slowly on hers and hesitantly she gave herself to this kiss. It was a kiss like no other before. Her body crackled with energy and threatened to burst. It was as if every muscle in her body was being electrocuted. But she could not possibly take her lips from his. But just when the pain and fascination seemed to tear her body apart, the Dragon God separated from her and held out his hand. Reluctantly she took it and let herself be pulled up.

"What..."

"Even I cannot prevent that I affect my surroundings as I do... but it is up to you know how much of my power you take in and how it should affect you. You are a beautiful woman, it would be a shame to destroy that beauty." he smiled and gently held her hand.

Mera closed her eyes and enjoyed the new feeling. She could feel the power of Eternicus flowing through her body, but she was not willing to give up her form. Even though she felt this power, she could not perceive any manipulating influence on her.

"Why... are you doing this for me?" she asked calmly and softly.

"You were ready to welcome me friendly from the beginning. I promised you that I would not harm you and yet I have not kept my word. However, the fact that I appreciate your presence is the real reason.

unable to answer, she simply smiled. She was torn between the desire to cut his balls off and the desire to kiss him again.

"Queen Mera, didn't you promise me a walk through your city?" he finally smiled and looked at her gently.

"I did, Lord Eternicus, but only if you tell me more about yourself. Not about your power or your opportunities. I would like to know more about the man... the person Eternicus!" she replied softly, sinking into his eyes as he seemed to sink into hers.

"This wish I gladly grant you. No one has ever asked me for it before." He smiled and walked beside her, astonished and happy. Mera slowly swam along his side and felt strange. Not good or bad, just strange. It was still intoxicating and yet somehow it was different now. It was no longer a ****-induced fascination ... but real curiosity. Eternicus was much more complex than she had ever thought.

As they walked through the streets of Atlantis, they were so fixated on each other that neither of them noticed the queen's sister secretly watching them. Hila had made a deal with Black Mamba to spy on Atlantis. Apparently, something very powerful had come to the city and Black Mamba wanted to know what it was.

Meanwhile on the Watchtower

Just as Diana and the others were about to dock at Watchtower they could see some of the League members fly out of the airlocks and disappear into the darkness of the stars.

Diana was more than grateful for this distraction. It had been alarmingly quiet on the return journey. Somehow all the women on board seemed lost in thought. Diana activated the radio and steered after the others.

In front of her flew Superman, Supergirl, Power Girl, Green Lantern and Cyborg flew right in front of them and far away from the Watchtower.

"Diana...The Watchtower is realigning the ion cannon!" said Dinah behind who was also focusing on the displays.

"This is Javelin 1-2-1. Diana here. We are following the others. Request status update!" said Diana, struggling to keep up with the others.

As if out of nowhere a massive spaceship appeared before them. Superman and the others had slowed down and were holding their position just off the bow of this monster. Diana looked up and ignited the retro rockets to stop alongside the others. The ship was three times the size of the Watchtower and was made of a beautiful silver alloy. The whole ship was a pattern of beauty and grace. For some reason the ship looked familiar to her but had no idea where from.

"This...is impossible!" she heard Superman's voice on the comm line before another voice came on the radio.

"This is Council Member Krul'Sur from Krypton aboard the research cruiser Hyperion. We come in peace. A **** whose origins we have located on this planet has not only re-created our home planet Krypton, but also brought back all the dead. The Hyperion was ordered by the Kryptonian High Council to investigate." When it sounded over the radio, all eyes aboard the Javelin were now focused on the last three Kryptonians in the universe, who were suddenly no longer alone.

"He... he... actually... did... do... it!" Superman babbled, and Kara began to cry. The tears instantly froze in the vacuum of space, but she didn't care.

Karen, on the other hand, immediately turned around and shot towards Earth. She entered the atmosphere at a speed that made her theoretical top speed absurd. It was not difficult to guess where she was going. Her course pointed directly towards the Atlantic Ocean. She was on her way to Atlantis.
