Mei Hatsume may seem extremely slutty, but in reality it’s simply because she doesn’t care about appearances and wants to experiment with everything, including sex. Her misadventures are all for the sake of her inventions and nothing else.

She frequently recruits others to help her test her “babies” and is well known in the underground UA community for being the go to person for the best sex toys. This is actually where most of her funds come from, and she makes a surprising amount of money from selling her inventions. Most of the inventions you might see in her lab seem to fail and explode, but she always makes sure to perfect her sex toys before they enter the market. She can’t guarantee the same for some of the tests she runs with other students, and few students have ended up in the infirmary after unfortunate accidents between their legs (though this has actually led to an increase in participants due to pain and bdsm kinks, as most of the time the accidents happen die to less serious malfunctions rather than explosions like with some of her hero gear).

Mei is also your go to person for dirt on anyone at the school. You could probably count on one hand the number of people she doesn’t have dirt on, whether it’s data from her tests, data from her marketing schemes to attract people, or from the secret camera system she installed everywhere.
