Meeting with Mom

Ethan drove to a Starbuck, those stuck around through all of this.

Ethan parked and spotted his mother sitting with Tohru the Dragon Maid.

His mother, Samantha, got up and hugged him, he got his hair color and kindness from her, his eyes from his father. "Nice to see you mom." Ethan greeted her with a smile.

"Little Ethie!" Torhu grabbed him and hugged him tightly.

"Hey Tohru and don't call me that, I'm not a kid anymore." Ethan patted her head, she always took good care of him when he was younger, she was always affectionate.

"I'm glad you took time off to visit." Samantha smiled widely, she actually looked to be in her 30's a perfect age for her beauty.

"Well with my new position and all the girls I have, I have much to do when I get back." Ethan explained. "I also have a character being worked on as we speak."

"I'm glad you got that promotion, your dad had to pull some strings to make it happen but since you started our sales were going up again." Samantha told him.

"Jack was really a bad choice... Why was he hired?" Ethan asked frowning.

"He was a fresh graduate when he started but we didn't know he acted so badly until he slipped up and now look at him." Samantha sighed.

"And the character he bought?" Ethan asked, he called a waitress over and placed his order.

"Technically it's ours since it was our money used, we want you to have it, we know you always had a crush on Princess Bubblegum." Samantha smirked.

"She's gonna be hard to domesticate..." Ethan groaned. "And I still have to domesticate Mirko and Kushina, Kushina is close to tolerating me."

"Just give her some affection, you always had a way with girls." Torhu waved him off.

"... I have a way with girls?" Ethan looked confused. "Of course! I wanted to jump you when you got of age but your mom wasn't having it." Torhu pouts.

"It would have been awkward." Samantha sighed.

"... Thanks but your more of a big sister." Ethan laughed nervously.

"Awww..." The dragon maid deflated.

Samantha rolled her eyes. "Enough of that." Ethan finally got his frappachino and took a sip. "How's your relationship with Wanda?" She asked.

"Going good, I'm glad I have her and the girls." Ethan smiled.

"If your gonna have more then you need to have the place expanded." Samantha told him. "It can only handle so much."

"I'll deal with that, I have to have the girls relocated while it's happening." Ethan stirred his drink with his straw.

"Ahhh maybe you can take them on a cruise! Mr. Kenway has a yacht you could use!" Torhu smiled.

"Oh that doesn't sound like a bad idea, sometime at sea, enjoying the fresh air until the renovations are done." Samantha gave an approved nod.

"I'll still have to plan what to renovate, so I'll keep that offer in mind." Ethan drank his frappachino.

The mother and son with the maid continued to chat until Ethan checked the time. "Oh it's almost time for me to pick up Kushina." Ethan looked at his mom. "I Gotta go."

"Of course, I'll tell your dad your doing okay." Samantha smiled.

"Bye Ethan, if you feel like riding a dragon, you know where to find me!" Torhu giggled but Samantha slapped her over the head.

Ethan left with an awkward wave and got in his car.
