Meeting the Alpha Bitch

Thankfully, our march out of the apartment building met no further ambushes. The Community College was just across the street, smack in the middle of downtown. As we approached the gates, I felt Mimi pressing herself into my back, like a baby kangaroo looking for her Mother’s pouch.

“That’s Lily and her gang. You can’t let her see me!”

A group of five or so girls stood by the gates checking everyone like a border checkpoint. Their leader was a tall, curvy girl with dark twin tails adorned by pink ribbons.

“Are those your, err, enemies, Mimi?” Annie asked.

“Y-yes, please don’t let them see me!”

“Well, they are going to see you eventually. Might be better to deal with them now rather than later. We can teach everyone not to mess with you on our watch-”

“Teach e-everyone? N-no, there are too many people! These are just the girls from my class. We still have to watch out for the Volleyball team, the Drama Club, the computer lab’s tech, the janitor, Max and her posse, oh, and, yeah, the Glee Club.”

I swear if these woman’s enemies formed a coalition, not even Napoleon could defeat them. “Whatever, let’s just-“

Lily pushed me aside. She stared at Mimi with the grin of a hungry wolf spotting her dinner. “Losers have to pay a toll to enter.”

“Come on Lily, these are my last pair of sandals and my last bra… I can’t afford to keep paying these tolls!”

Ah, the alpha bitch appeared. I know how to deal with her kind. Puffing out my chest like a silverback gorilla, I went to establish dominance. “Then you can let her pass because no cousin of mine is a loser,” I snarled, pushing my beautiful face in front of hers.

Lily took a step back. She eyed my stunning physique from top to bottom. “You… don’t look like her cousin.”

“Not my fault I hoarded all the good genes in the family.”

“Fine, then, you can pass. Your loser cousin stays here with us.”

“N-no.” Annie stepped forward. “We won’t let you treat our family like this!”

“No way you three are related.”

“Yes, we are! And we always stick together, right bos-cousin?”

“Hmm-huh, you better back away because we aren’t letting you lay a finger on Mimi.”

“Oh really?” Lily arched one of her eyebrows. “While you were bantering, my girls got to work.”

I looked back and could not help but sigh. Two girls grabbed Mimi’s arms while a third reached deep into the neck hole of her shirt. She was trying to yank Mimi’s bra out of her breasts.

“Mimi, why didn’t you say anything?!” Annie asked.

“… I didn’t want to bother you.”

“Ok, enough nonsense. ” I grabbed the girl trying to yank Mimi’s bra and locked her head between my forearms. “Annie!”

“R-right!” Annie ran and tackled the second member of the triangle. “We’ll show everyone what happens when you mess with our family!”

“Damn right, so I expect you all to be in your best behavior around my… cousin.” I gulped. Lily’s little group grew exponentially while I wasn’t looking. At least a dozen students surrounded us, neither of which seemed particularly friendly.

“W-who are these guys? Where did they come from?”

“I suggest you let my friend go,” Lily said. “Or your family will have to reckon with the whole Anti-Mimi club.”

“You made a club?”

“Of course we did. We, Max’s gals and the Glee Club realized we had to coordinate better. We had too much friendly fire these last few weeks.”

Shit, they did form a coalition. “All this for just Mimi? Seriously?”

“Of course! The bitch there made me lose a whole ass semester when she tattled, and I’m not the only one! Last warning, let my girls go.”

The situation reminded me of the time I had to take a hostage in a vineyard back in Italy, only these girls seemed even more dangerous than the farmhands. I let Lily’s flunky go, and Annie stood down. This is not a fight we can win.

“Good. Now I think you two losers owe us a toll. And prices just went up...”
