Meeting his children

Lex felt the tension building as he approached the log cabin. Unlike with the surprising yet fun birth and meeting of his daughter Divi. This was an entirely different matter. Although not undesired, it was far more stressful. Honestly, who wouldn't feel anxious about meeting their children for the first time? He cleared his throat as he approached the door, brushing himself off before heading inside. The atmosphere of the room was brighter than he expected, but what caught his eye was Sazla in the middle of the room, straightening up a young lady's hair.

Lex could see four young adults in the room besides Sazla. At first glance, he noticed two of them looked mostly human whereas the other two looked mostly like kobolds. There hadn't been a doubt in his mind before, but it was clear that these were his children. He could see a spark in their eyes, a curiosity and eagerness to learn and improve. This is when Sazla turned. Upon seeing him, she smiled brightly. "Good morning Lex." He smiled while gazing into her eyes. "Morning sweetie." His eyes began to wander over the four young adults within the room, casting Observe as he did. "Wow, I didn't think they would be this big already."

Lex was surprised to see that so much information was missing, but he was happy they all looked happy and healthy. "I feel like I've missed out on a lot. " He looked over to Sazla. "Have you thought of any names for our children?" Sazla nodded slightly while walking over to his side before hugging him tightly. "Yes, but I wanted their daddy's input too." He gently hugged her in return. "I appreciate that. Since we're on the topic. How do kobolds normally name their children?"

Sazla nuzzled her cheek against Lex's side. "There are three customs that my tribe observes for naming children. The first is using the first sound the child makes. This is normal for tribesmen of low class. The second is through mistweaving which I can perform. Normally this is reserved for the chieftain's children. Outside that, only a few are deemed worthy. The third option is by using the spouse's traditions." He nodded slightly before looking to his children. They all still seemed rather nervous.

Lex thought about this a moment while tilting his head slightly. "I'd like to see what names your mistweaving provides, Sazla." Sazla continued to nuzzle her cheek against his side. "Okay, but what will you do?" He lifted a hand up to caress the top of her head. "I want to talk to our children while thinking of some names too." Her eyes widened as tears welled up in her eyes. "Really!?" He chuckled. "So cute, but yes. Really. I want to pick the best for our children. To do that I need to know more about them." She smiled brightly. "I like the sound of that." Their children looked excited about this prospect.

Sazla giggled with a squeak before walking outside to start on her ritual, leaving Lex with their children. Lex enjoyed watching her walk away before turning his attention back to their children. "I don't know what your mother has told you about me, but I won't bite. My name is Lex Frost Moore. It's a pleasure to meet you all." He said this while walking towards a L-shaped couch with eight seats and a lounging segment. He gently patted the couch. "Come sit with me." Each came over, but in different ways.

Lex's athletic daughter jumped over the back of the couch, landing quietly on the cushion to his right. Her eyes focused on him, obviously curious of what he had to say. His slender daughter eagerly moved to his left side to sit down. It was quite obvious that she had many questions as well. However, his voluptuous daughter walked slowly around the couch. "Thank you for leaving me the best seat around." As that final word escaped her lips, she sat on Lex's lap and wiggled her taut ass gently against his lap. "You don't mind, right daddy?" She playfully giggled while gazing up into his eyes.

It was tactics like this that made Lex realize that his children were definitely adults. He closed his eyes, focusing on not getting hard while thinking. 'Now isn't the time for this.' After a moment, he shook his head. "That's fine. Having everyone close to me is important." His other daughters looked a little upset, but his slender daughter spoke up first. "Daddy's lap isn't a pillow. Besides, you'll make it harder for us to talk to him." His athletic daughter lifted a brow at his voluptuous daughter. "Just couldn't hold back, could you?"

Lex's voluptuous daughter giggled. "It'll be fine. We all have great hearing." She turned on his lap, leaning gently against him so not to block his head. "I'm not a bother like this, am I daddy?" This felt a little strange, but given his relationship with Divi. Saying no to this felt hypocritical. He gently touched the top of their heads before smiling. "You're all fine." By this time, his son had taken a seat on the floor in front of him. His son smiled and waved. "Don't worry about me. I feel quite comfortable on the floor, daddy." Lex was slightly confused by his son's statement, but it didn't matter. So long as his son was comfortable anyway.

Over the next thirty minutes, Lex spent time talking to his children, learning more about each of them. His athletic daughter said she enjoys all manner of physical activities, including sports, hiking, fps video games, and hunting. His slender daughter said she enjoys books, most video games (excluding things like candy crush), and other educational pursuits. His voluptuous daughter said she enjoys drinking, puzzles, mind games, and poker. His son said he enjoys tales of heroes and romance, rpg and rts video games, and acting. During this conversation, Bianca walked by, but didn't interrupt them.

A few minutes later, Sazla came back in all excited. "I have my list of names." Lex turned to look in her direction. "Good, I have a few good ideas myself." After a short discussion, they both had a name for each child. The list was as follows.

Athletic daughter: Ziksa from Sazla's mistweaving or Winda from the Swahili meaning, Hunter.

Voluptuous daughter: Scorring from Sazla's mistweaving or Fauve from the French meaning, Wild And Uninhibited.

Slender daughter: Torral from Sazla's mistweaving or Prudence from the English meaning, Cautious, Intelligent.

Slender son: Drirk from Sazla's mistweaving or Dempsey from the Irish meaning, Descendant Of The Proud One.

Lex, Sazla, and the children looked over these names, but which one should be chosen?
