Meeting her friends

You make your way down stairs to meet Zoey and she quickly guestures you to her car. She drove a pink converitalbe, it looked like a Barbie dream car. The ride to meet her friends was quite we really had nothing in common anymore. Back when we were kids we could talk for days and now we can’t even make some small talk.

We pull into the parking lot where Zoeys friends were waiting “look I don’t want you here as much as you don’t want to be here so just be quite and we’ll make it thru this as painless as possible, okay?” Zoey said.

“I completely agree.” You said

You arrive in the parking lot to see what looked like two more Barbie dream cars but one was yellow and one was purple. “I guess those are your friends?” You ask.

“I though we agreed that you would be quite, but yes they are my friends.” She said

“Hey Zoey who’s that guy? Don’t tell me you are already cheating on Trevor with this guy? He’s not even that cute.” One of the girls said

“No this is my cousin, he is living with us and my mom made me bring him along.” Zoey said

“Cool hi I’m Candice I’m sure Zoey told you about me, and this is Tori.” Candice said.

“Nice to meet you.” You say

Zoey and her friends break off into some girl talk completely ignoring the fact I’m there. They just keep giggleing and looking over toward me.

“So are you getting your nails done too. I think they would look great in pink.” Tori giggled.

At that moment you can’t help but think that Zoey did see you this morning. You began to panic trying to make an excuse for what she might of saw.

“Hahaha, very funny do I look like I like to paint my nails like a girly boy?” I say.

“I don’t know you look like you would make a cute girl.” Candice chuckled.

“Come on lets just go in we are about to miss our appointment.” Zoey said

I can clearly see that Zoey was the queen bee of the group. Just looking at the three of them just reminded me of the movie mean girls.

“Are you coming John?” Zoey said
