Meeting Felix

"You're not as bad as I thought, but it's time to pay for what you've done!" the Grovyle stated, raising his arm to slash at her. "NO!" a girl's voice cried out, causing both the Grovyle and Rachael to look and see that Kate was approaching him.

"K-Kate. Stay back!" Rachael stated in concern.

"You got it wrong! Please don't hurt them!" the Pachirisu pleaded with the grass type. The Grovyle's face changed, clearly surprised that the girl was defending the two of them. Eventually the Leaf Blade subsided, and he got up off of the Buneary. Rachael got up and went to check up on Neku, while he was quite bruised, he was okay.

"You're not part of the bandits..." The Grovyle said, looking down in shame of jumping the gun.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you since you made that accusation!" Rachael said, crossing her arms. "It'd be one thing to let us answer and don't believe us, but you just went at us without our or Kate's say in all this!"

The Grovyle crossed his arms as he nodded. "I know, you're right. I apologize for that. It's just with how things are, no one would bring a child with them unless they don't belong to them, I would expect a mother or father to be with them." he looks at the two of them. "Though considering the girl defended you two, you're not bandits, so who are you two?"

"First you attack us, now you're demanding our names?" Neku asked in annoyance. "Aren't you being rather pushy with us?" The Zoroark stated looking at the grass type, then the Buneary spoke out. "Come on, it's fine. The situation was stopped before it could get worse. Just let it go." Rachael turned her attention to the Grovyle. "My name is Rachael, and this is Neku." she pointed to the Zoroark who crossed his arms with a huff. "And this is Kate." She pointed to the Pachirisu who said hi.

"I'm Felix. I would say it's nice to meet you, but I doubt I made a good first impression." the Grovyle stated. "Well now that we've done the introductions, why are you out here? You know the survivor camp is back where you came from right? Is it full or something?"

"Well, we were there Felix, but we left there a few hours ago." Neku answered, calming himself a little now. "You mentioned before that you thought that we were some bandits. Have you encountered some before?"

Felix walks a little as he begins. "There have been some groups of Pokémon that settled together to survive, just like the Survivor Camp. But then they started doing heinous things. Nothing too serious at the moment. Going to abandon towns, gathering supplies and stuff in huts, even breaking down cupboards among other personal items for wood and other materials."

The Zoroark and Buneary take a deep breath as they can tell that what happens next is what going to make it why they're so bad to him.

"Then they started to set up sneak attacks among traveling survivors passing by various areas. Beating them and sometimes eating them before taking their stuff, and as you can guess, yes. **** children and holding them up as ransom for food and/or supplies." Felix explained. "I saw that girl looking sad and scared, and considering I don't see another Electric type with you, I assumed you kidnapped her."

"I suppose if you heard about those bandits, it's too easy to assume." Rachael said understanding. "Well, we do have an Electric type with us, but we got separated by a collapsing bridge. He should be passing by either today or tomorrow. A Raichu with blue eyes. If you meet him, let him know we're waiting for him at the spot we agreed on." 'If he's still alive and not-infected still...' she thought that to herself.

"I suppose I can do that as atonement of attacking you without listening, but why are you three out here? It's dangerous for you to have a child out here." Felix pointed out.

"We kind of **** ourselves to come with him. That's on us. We are actually heading off to the town a bit distance from there to find this soothsayer. Have you encountered someone that may fit the profile?" Rachael answered.

"I also heard about that info, but I never met anyone in the village. It's completely barren." Felix answered, thinking about it. "I mean, not to say she might not be there, but I checked all huts and tents for secret passages but found nothing."

Rachael looked down in a thought. It's not good when you hear someone hasn't seen this soothsayer person at all, but that doesn't mean that they aren't here. "Well, we'll be taking a look ourselves. Thanks for the information, Felix." She stated, taking a look at the Grovyle. While he's certainly skilled, he doesn't look that much older than Rai or her. "What happened to your parents?"

"Don't have any. I was raised in an orphanage when I was a Treecko. Left when I was 16. Been on my own for 3 years. I know how to take care of myself." he answers them.

'He's a year older than me and Rai.' Rachael thought to herself as they started to head off. "Well, take care of yourself Felix, and don't forget about what I said about the Raichu."

"I know, if I encounter a blue eyed Raichu, I'll inform him I encounter you and is waiting at the spot." Felix answered as he saw the three Pokémon leave him on the path.

As the three leave, Neku looks at her. "Do you think he can be trusted?" he asked her.

"Not sure, all we know is that he stopped when Kate told him too. If he really didn't care, he would've finished me off." Rachael said as they then heard the Pachirisu coughing a little.

"You okay Kate?" Neku asked, looking at you.

"Yeah, just a few coughs..." She said to them, rubbing her forehead as they continue onward, the Buneary worried about Kate's health.
