The highest paying job you can find is that of participating in a psychological study. The testing has a bunch of different sign offs and warnings about potentially permanent effects. But who can say if that’s going to happen. 50% of the time you are going to be on placebo anyway…

You arrive at the office of Professor Long, she is an Asian woman who appears to be young, but is likely in her late 30’s.

“Thank you for coming,” she says, “We are doing a test of a variety of drugs for our senior pharmacology students. You will be on a test trial for one of our top students.”

She pulls out two near identical pink pills, “Choose carefully… this will determine if you get the placebo or the real thing. But you won’t know till the end of the study.”
