Meanwhile
"Where did he go?" asks Uldar, confused.
"Interesting..." the dark lord utters to himself.
"Master?"
"It appears there is much more to this... Dragon than I first thought."
"What do you mean?"
"We must find him immediately and make him swear fielty to me!"
"Y-y-yes master, as you say" Uldar scurries off.
Remembering just what the ancient ones told him before his invasion of Theras. Before he was the dark lord.
"One will come to flesh from the maker, what once was shall be again, killing only makes it stronger, but only in **** will it turn to vengeance."
The dark lord pauses for a moment, his eyes fluttering about as if searching for something.
He is searching... And he has found you.
How does the Dark Lord react?
Inspired by the immensely entertaining CHYOO story "Game Monster" by Cantalope and the very awesome video game, Overlord, in this story you are a magically spawned minion-type creature (goblin, zombie, ghoul, dark knight, etc) born to live, fight and die for your evil overlord master. Serve your master well and survive the many pitfalls of minion-dom and rise up above the rank of fodder for heroes to your overlord's right hand. Fail or betray your master (and get caught doing so) and meet your gruesome and horrible . In either case, you'll be sure to fight, kill and (if you're lucky)defile heroes and other creatures and foes along the way, all in the name of your dark master!
