At Tails's Lab where he invents and organizes his inventions, Sonic the Hedgehog and Tangle the Lemur were sitting down on Tails's handmade smart sofa with built-in functions like massage vibration, instant beverage refill, and remote control buttons on the arms to change the channel in case the remote gets lost. Sonic and Tangle were watching a chili dog eating contest on an extra large flat screen TV.

Sonic frowned at the Tv and let out a depressed groan.

Tangle herself let out a groan too. "We are such lousy day planners."

Sonic took a bite out of a blue white chocolate donut. "Tell me about it, Tangle. Today was supposed to be a frenzy of chili dog eating while a crowd cheered for our dangerous eating habits, and we were too late to register for the contest!"

Tangle sunk into the couch and in a manner of dramatic but suppressed frustration because she was too bored and relaxed went, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! All I wanted to do was stuff my face, try to win the challenge, and use my tail to perform a Heimlich maneuver in case someone started choking from eating too fast!"

Sonic nodded with annoyed agreement. "And it was all the perfect excuse to avoid being dragged to that sleepover Amy wanted me to be a part of!"

Tangle looked over at Sonic with a questioning look. "Now that you mention Amy, earlier today, Tails wanted me to use my tail to sneak some kind of mosquito sized gizmo onto Amy."

Sonic raised an eyebrow. "What kind of gizmo?"
