Mayuri tricks Soi Fon

"Soi Fon, you're ever so charming, is that a way to address one of your colleagues?" Mayuri began, his voice betraying a hint of amusement. "I trust your day has been eventful, as always."

"What brings you here, Mayuri-san?" Soi Fon inquired, her voice steady and laced with a hint of guarded curiosity.

“Well now, don’t be so guarded,” said Mayuri, chuckling slightly at Soi Fon’s cold gesture. “You seem to be in a bad mood, did something happened?” he remarked. Soi Fon acknowledged Mayuri's observation with a slight nod, realizing that her sour mood hadn't gone unnoticed.

"You are right, Mayuri-san," she admitted, her voice carrying a touch of vulnerability. "Lately, I've been feeling... strange. There are moments when my memories seem to blur, and I find myself doing things that are completely out of character for me, dare I say I'm not quite myself lately"

Mayuri's eyes gleamed with a mixture of interest and intrigue as he absorbed Soi Fon's words. He seemed almost delighted by the revelation, his mind undoubtedly racing with potential theories and hypotheses. "So, you've been experiencing memory gaps and uncharacteristic behavior," Mayuri mused, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "How fascinating. It seems you've stumbled upon a most intriguing conundrum, Soi Fon." Mayuro said as he played dumb.

Soi Fon couldn't help but feel a surge of wariness in response to Mayuri's gleeful response. She knew all too well the extent of his scientific curiosity, often bordering on obsession. His reputation for conducting unorthodox experiments and pushing the boundaries of ethical conduct lingered in her mind, prompting her to proceed with caution. Just then, Mayuri reached into the folds of his captain's robe, retrieving a small vial containing several white pills. Soi Fon raised her eyebrows, as if asking Mayuri silently what those pills were for.

"I have just the solution for your predicament, Captain Soi Fon," Mayuri announced, his tone tinged with a mix of confidence and curiosity. "These pills are specially formulated to restore balance to your memories and alleviate the uncharacteristic behavior you've been experiencing."

Soi Fon's eyebrows furrowed as she regarded the pills with suspicion. She knew better than to blindly trust Mayuri's offerings, understanding the potential risks involved. Yet, a part of her yearned for answers, for a resolution to the unsettling changes she had been facing.

"I appreciate your concern, Mayuri-san," Soi Fon responded calmly. "But… I must be foolish to consume anything you provide, do you take me for a fool?"

Mayuri's expression shifted, his face morphing into an unsettling combination of amusement and persuasion. He held the vial out to Soi Fon, his eyes locked with hers, their depths filled with a twisted mix of curiosity and a hint of something more sinister. "I understand your reservations, Soi Fon," Mayuri replied, his voice laced with a disconcerting charm. "And I admit, my reputations have reached far and wide. But I assure you, these pills have been meticulously crafted with only best interests in mind. This is a breakthrough scientific medicine. And it wouldn’t harm you. Besides…,” Mayuri quickly thought of an argument that would convince Soi Fon to take the pills. “I wouldn’t be foolish enough to try to poison the captain of Second Division. I know your tolerance for poison is far higher than any kind of concoction I would ever have the ability to come up with.”

Truth was, the white pills were soul candies, filled with copies of Mayuri’s soul.

"I heard from a certain birdie of mine, a rumor that one of our Captains was engaging in, shall I say, inappropriate activates with underlings?" Mayuri said with a slight smirk on his face.

"Whatt?!?! You heard wrong Mayuri, what are you getting at?" Soi Fon said with her face turning red.

"Oh don't play dumb dear Soi Fon, there are eyes everywhere and word is you are active sexually with members of the Second Division, I will say you're quite the deviant" Mayuri said.

"You...you.. know? Just how much?" Soi Fon said with fear in her eyes.

"Well enough let just say I didn't know you swing both ways Soi Fon" Mayuri said.

"Please don't tell a soul, if word got out that I had relations with members of the squad I might exile myself to the deepest part of hell, my reputation will never recover!" Soi Fon said.

"Oh yes well don't worry, your secret is safe with me, as long as you take one of those pills, I did say I can help you, I found that there is a certain thing going on in the air that causes people to do things that are unlike them per say" Mayuri said running with a lie.

"What is this the work of an enemy ability?" Soi Fon said.

"Yes this might be so, which is why I have been on the case and producing medicine for follow our soul reapers, who knows what this mind control will make you do next?" Mayuri said.

"Mind control?" Soi Fon said.

Soi Fon was beginning to get swayed by Mayuri’s argument. "I suppose I can trust you this time, that can explain a bit I guess" she conceded, her voice still cautious, but this time it was tinged with a trace of hope. "But know this, Mayuri, if these pills prove to be anything other than what you claim… I won’t hesitate to end you."

"Rest assured," Mayuri responded, his voice filled with a perverse delight. "I am confident that these pills will provide nothing but the cure you seek."

Sighing, Soi Fon cautiously took the vial from Mayuri's outstretched hand, her eyes fixed on him with a mixture of skepticism and resignation. With a deep breath, she swallowed one pill, hoping against hope that it would indeed bring her the answers she sought. For a moment, nothing happened. Soi Fon simply continued to stand there, waiting, her body tense with anticipation. Then, a searing pain erupted within her, coursing through her veins like molten fire. She clutched her chest, her face contorting with agony as her muscles spasmed uncontrollably.

"Ahhh what is this?!?! My body is losing feeling" Soi Fon said.

"Hahaha you were more bronze then brains" Mayuri said.

In the midst of her torment, Soi Fon's realization dawned upon her. Mayuri had deceived her.
