Who does the Linda contact?
Mayor's investigation.
The next morning Linda called the chief's office and invited Isabella to her office and to tell no one she was coming to see her. Isabella told Katherine she was going out and left her in her office. Katherine could not stop her due to the evidence that Isabella had on her so continued with her work and also did some of Isabella's work. Isabella arrived at the Mayor's office and was shown in and offered coffee and then Linda started explaining why she had asked Isabella to come to see her. "Isabella I know you are loyal to your boss but some disturbing evidence had been given to me and you might be able to clear up the issue." Inwardly Isabella smirked but outwardly she smiled and said: "I will try to help as much as I can Mayor". Linda smiled then carried on "Well first the robbery at the jewellery store, look at this video and tell me if it's possible that this was chief Frost._" Isabella watched the video and then looked at Linda" Yes it's possible but it could also be her twin sister Mayor. What I can say is that night I tried calling the chief several times and got no reply so I went to her house and her car was not parked there." _Linda took notes and made a note to have the chief's phone checked to see where it was at the time of the robbery. Isabella showed Linda her phone which displayed the call log for that night which displayed five attempts to contact Katherine.
((Flashback. Jillian picked up Katherine's phone and placed it in her pocket before heading to the Jewellery store and was satisfied hearing it ring several times while she robbed the store))
"Now Isabella this next question is a bit more sensitive. Has Chief Frost ever **** you to do things in the office that you were uncomfortable with?" Isabella hesitated for effect then replied recounting her memory" Well Chief Frost has a foot fetish and she demanded that I let her suck on my toes and sweaty nylon sheathed feet. I tried to complain but she said either I allowed her to do it or I would be fired. She even stayed under my desk for a whole day sucking and licking my nylons." Linda sighed and thanked Isabella and told her to keep this meeting secret for the time being. Isabella left the town hall and headed back to the police station calling Jillian on the way and telling her what had happened. Linda picked her phone up and arranged the backtrace of the chief's phone for the night in question. She also called the parole office and asked about Jillian and was told that the night of the robbery she was working as a night shift shelf filler at the local supermarket.
((Flashback. Jillian had paid a nerd to clock her in and fix the cameras to show her working away. After she had done the robbery she headed to the store to finish her shift and clock out.))
Satisfied that Jillian had been nowhere near the robbery scene it was Linda's conclusion that the person in the video was Chief Frost. She had enough to hand over to IA but she wanted more just to be sure. She would need to speak with Saranne regarding the arrests of the hookers and how they had been released. She suspected that from the video evidence they had been released on the chief's say so because they were friends of the chief. After putting the phone down Sarane had confirmed that this was the case the chief had authorised their release. Another nail in Katherine's coffin but Linda still wanted more.
