Max stops Logan.

Logan would hate her. He would never speak to her again. As soon as he saw what she did whatever they had going on between them would be over. No more late night dinners, no more chess games, no more Logan. Max couldn't let that happen, she wouldn't let that happen.

"Noo!" Max called out abruptly, and in a blur of motion ripped the disc out of the drive.

"What? Max?" Logan asked out confused. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing!' Max blurted out.

"I thought you wanted me to look at the disc?"

"No! I... Uhhh.." Max couldn't help the smile that grew on her face as she slowly felt her will return to her. "I just remembered I brought the wrong disc."

Logan shot her a puzzled look. "Then whats on that one?" he asked. By the way she was acting it had to be something.

"This? Oh... It's Cindy's" Max said thinking up a lie. She held the disc in between two fingers, pushing on both sides, watching as the think disc flexed. "Oops!" she exclaimed as the disc snapped in two under the pressure.

Logan scratched his head. Utterly confused.

"Thanks anyway..." Max said, beaming a smile his way. "I'll stop by tomorrow!" she called out and as quickly as she had appeared she was gone.
