Max (Preview)

“Max.” Yeong offered, as a surprise pick that no one in the room expected.

“Who?” Janna rightly asked.

“Yeah, who is that?” Kai questioned.

“That's...” He thought about his life choices. Max was not a good pick. He was potentially less social than an Orc, even as a human. He was also gross and rude. Ruder than the man in front of him at least, by appearance. Yet, there was just something that did not sit right when it came to how enthusiastically Kai offered up the Orc. He figured that if he could pick Max, he would have a person with some connections, a deeper connection to Sherri and less chance for the two girls to get distracted. Especially Kai.
