Max (OC), a commoner in the Black Eagle House, Monastery Rulebook

Max Brieam hated being in the Black Eagle house. He and Dorothea were the only commoners, and after an interaction earlier that day in the dining hall involving Max slipping and accidentally peeking under Dorothea's blouse (which was kind of her fault for having the front third of her uniform open), she wasn't speaking to him.

He would transfer classes, but his new professor Byleth was hot. He had heard she was a former mercenary, which is what he wanted to be, so he thought she was the perfect fit for him.

He was trying to cram for a weapons test tomorrow, when an interesting book caught his eye.

He picked it up, dusted it off, and saw that it read 'Monastery Rules'.

Flipping through it, he was surprised and somewhat alarmed. Not only were all the pages blank, but they seemed to be organized into categories. The first page read 'General Rules', but the rest of the pages...

'Byleth's Rules'

'Edelgard's Rules'

'Mercedes' Rules'

Every girl in the Academy, including Catherine, Shamir, Rhea, and even Flayn, had a blank page for them, presumably for Max to write rules?

"How would that even work?" he pondered.

He took a spare quill he had and flipped to Dorothea's page...
