Matt takes the blame

"Sorry, Ms. Chadra. I missed what you said about the way the unit circle turns into a wave function and asked Wendy if she could explain. She was telling me to ask you."

Ms. Chadra looked at Wendy. "Is that right?"

"Uh, I guess."

She turned back to Matt. "Fine. Wendy offered good advice. If you need me to repeat something, or if I say something that you don't understand, chances are good that another student has missed it as well. I'll be happy to explain. If you distract other students, you'll both miss what I'm saying next."

"I understand, Ms. Chadra."

"All right. I'm not putting you in for detention right now but if you misbehave again, I'll have to do it. In the meantime, please remember that I'm here for an hour after class every day. If you have any questions or if there's anything you missed, bring it to my attention."

"Yes, Ms. Chadra." There was something he wanted to bring to her attention all right... the bulge between his legs. He reminded himself that he wasn't a perv.
