Chloe was happy for multiple reasons.

“Magnus, look!” Chloe almost shouted. “This is one is done… and it’s positive!” Chloe nearly jumped in joy.

Magnus grinned in mirth. Then his eyes also caught that the other tests were starting to show their results.

“My God! They’re all positive!” Both Chloe and Magnus shouted in happiness and they wrapped themselves in each other’s arms and kissed. Magnus spun them around.

“We’re going to have a baby!” Chloe said after the kiss with tears starting to form in her eyes.

“We’re going to be parents!” Said Magnus while wiping the tear that fell from Chloe’s eyes. He touched her belly again. “Thank you, Chloe. I’m really grateful.”

“You’d better be.” Said Chloe while she placed her hands on her waist. “You see this body. I worked hard for this body. Now your baby’s about to ruin it.”

Magnus pinched and twisted her left nipple and Chloe resisted moaning. “Oh so it’s just my baby now.”

The two then burst out laughing. When their laughter ended, Magnus cupped Chloe’s cheeks. Chloe responded by wrapping her arms around his neck.

Chloe responded with, "And I intend to keep it healthy for the sake of our child. It deserves the best." Magnus felt the love behind her words.

Sean only nodded back. He broke the hug and told them, “You two should go make love.”

Chloe and Magnus looked at each other and smiled. “You go ahead to our room, love.” Chloe told Magnus. “I want a minute with Sean.”

Magnus knew what was up and walked off to their room. “I’ll be waiting.”

Now that they were alone, Chloe grinned her ex-husband and told him, “Off with the pants, love. Your little buddy needs my attention.”

You're a wonderful woman doing a wonderful thing, Chloe. You've made me happy. You've made Magnus quite happy, I can tell as much. You're giving him his first baby and making him a father. I think it's wonderful, you know."

Chloe felt her worries vanish and her eyes forming tears again. She needed to hear those assurances from Sean. Seriously, where did these insecurities suddenly come from? Must be her hormones.

"Seriously, with all the women he's been with, it's a surprise he doesn't have kids running around somewhere." Sean said.

That made Chloe smile in amusement. "So... ready to see me swell up?"

I’ll make you a father too. For now, content yourself with being uncle.” Chloe winked and then headed for the room where Magnus was waiting for her.
