A big strong wyvern poised to attack all who oppose. You are young, yes, but you are ready to make a name for yourself and create your kingdom. And it all starts with this little cave.

You begin to desend into the cave and turn right, following the general slope. The cave starts to reek of rotting meat and scent of whatever beast is lurking at the bottom.

The cave is bigger than you’ve anticipated and after turning another corner, this time to the left, you start to wonder how it came to be. The walls are smooth and not like a normal cave, and the slope is structured and set in layers so as not to rush down too quickly. You realize that this tunnel (as it seems to have become) is man-made, but by what, you don’t know.

Finally the cave empties into a large chamber where water dropplets off some underground river create echoes in the shadows. As a natural hunter, you can see quite well in the dark and you makeout a looming shape on the far side of the chamber. As you advance the creature stirs and rises to its full glory. The creature, is in fact, a cave troll...perfect...

The troll has long overbearing arms with knuckles that draw as he lumbers into a standing position. From this angle you can already tell that he is at least a meter or two taller than you. He has course black hair covering his head that connects down his neck to his lower back. He sniffs the air once then twice obviously not liking what he smells by the way he curls his upper lip into a snarl.

You may be intruding on his territory but if you’re going to make a name for yourself in this tough and calloused land then you’re gonna have to stand your ground and fight. Afterall, you are the top of the food chain, why not remind this troll of his place on the ladder.
