Martin and Emily Smith, A misunderstanding going too far

Martin Smith woke up in his wife's arms, she was huddled behind him as big spoon as she often did as she was the taller of the two of them by a fair bit as she was 5'9 and Martin was 5'3, something Martin was a little insecure about but Emily had always reassured him it was fine. Martin disentangled himself from his wife and walked towards the bathroom taking note of his body as he walked past the mirror, "god I really should go back to the gym" he thought as he saw his skinny frame as he got in the shower.

Martin showered and got dressed for the day, it was a pretty nice Saturday thinking of his physique or lack of one he definitely was going to go out for a walk. Martin prepares him and Emily breakfast while she gets ready upstairs, "Hey honey did you sleep alright" Emily says as she bounds down the stairs. Martin and Emily enjoy breakfast together, talking about there general plans for the day, Emily was going to head to the shops; she's evasive about why when Martin asks because Emily was actually in the process of trying to get the perfect gift for their 5 year wedding anniversary next month but was struggling. Martin says about how he was going to pick up his laptop from the store later as it had recently broken which had led to him having to share Emily's laptop for the meantime.

Once Emily leaves Martin sits at the island in his kitchen and pulls out Emily's laptop, checking the status on his laptop repair online, it said it should be ready for pick up at 5pm, Martin checked his watch it was currently 10:23am so he had a lot of time to kill. Martin decides to log on to his Instagram, to scroll for a bit and when Martin logs on he sees a notification that he had received a DM.
