Marissa Explains It All

"It's time I told you all about my father, Edward." Marissa decides, seemingly impressed by your earlier display of carnal depravity. Rising from your bed, your mother saunters over to your desk, where she'd left some of her own effects upon her arrival.

Your eyes, however, are more interested in drinking in every inch of your mother's naked flesh. She truly was a sight to behold, the various taboos related to your ogling of her only adding to your enjoyment.

"Here." Marissa notes, returning with an oblong plate made from some sort of polished bone.

"What is this, whalebone?" you ask, accepting the bizarre artefact. It's roughly the same size as a sheaf of parchment.

The demoness shakes her head.

"Whale? No. Try dragon, love." Marissa corrects you.

"Dragon?" You slur. "That can't be..."

"It was given to me many centuries ago." Marissa tells you. "There were once warriors who'd take on great dragons, just for the pleasure of one night in my cunt."

"Most I usually have to do is stick my tongue up your arse." You quip, before examining the bone plate.

Upon closer inspection, you see fine lines inscribed into its surface, the contours of them vaguely familiar...

"H-hang on." you mutter. "That's the coast, Beatha, this here, Itheria! This is a map of the continent."

Joining you once more on the bed, Marissa nods.

"What's the purpose of this?" you can't help but ask.

"Long ago, before any of the ancient tribal leaders of Motania called themselves King, there was Arinum. A great demon lord, worshipped by mystics across the western half of the continent. Arinum's followers came together, offering a great sacrifice to summon their lord permanently to this plane." Marissa explains.

"Arinum's followers began taking land, offering more and more treasure, sacrifices and pussy to their lord. Once Arinum's dominion had grown sufficiently, he declared himself King, the first to do so in the continent's history. Eventually, the Demon King even fathered children with his lesser demonic followers, summoned to this plane to help rule the burgeoning incubus' empire."

You raise a trembling finger towards your mother. Anticipating your question, she simply nods.

"Eventually, those humans not aligned with my father's rule united, driving back our demon-ruled civilisation. Many were slain, and the truth of how close Motania came to demonic conquest was lost to the millennia, but Arinum still lives, ruling a shadow kingdom, pockets of descendants, adherents, worshippers. His hand still guides most demonic activity across Motania, be it by merely allowing or forbidding it."

"And I'm to meet this... king?" You wonder, an uneasy mix of wonder and trepidation building in your gut.

"Yes Edward, with me at your side." Marissa nods. "Never before has one of our kind been so highly placed. Your grandfather will have much to discuss. Gifts to offer you, and requests."

"Where?" You ask.

"There are still ritual sites all across the continent." Marissa tells you, pointing out several points on the map. "When the time comes, and Arinum calls for you, the indicated meeting place will glow."

"And what does he want?"

"The same thing every King wants son, if they are honest with themselves." Marissa says sweetly. "Dominion over all."

"So he wants me to what, pledge fealty to him?" You wonder. This elicits a laugh from your mother.

"Nothing so banal. Most likely he simply wants your acknowledgement you'll conquer Motania alongside him."

The idea doesn't exactly fill you with glee.

"You'll want to meet with him." Marissa notes. "My father's magicks are the most powerful I've ever experienced. Who knows what he'll be able to offer you?"

As if to emphasise her point, Marissa gives your useless right hand a loving squeeze.

"That, and the whole family'll be there." the demoness finishes. "I think you'd enjoy... meeting your aunts."

The idea of that, aunts (plural) especially, does picque your interest.
