Marianne, to make sure the humiliation sticks

In the decade she had known her, Mackenzie had seen her friend Marianne go from a bubbly near-cheerleader to a professional in graduate school with hundreds of LinkedIn connections. As her life began to take a more serious turn, and her career was turning to greater and greater things, Marianne's wardrobe showed less and less skin until she had become the biggest prude in Mackenzie's life.

Given what was on the line, Mackenzie couldn't believe she was planning on taking it all from Marianne, and was even less sure that she would forgive her. On the other hand, Willow would enjoy her exposure too much, and Mackenzie's curse would stick with her to ruin her own career, so she felt like this was the route she had to take.
