Mari found out!

In true Widowmaker fashion, Saki's face expressed no emotion whatsoever. She looked down her nose at Mari, their height difference only underlined by Saki's four-inch heels. "Is this true, Mari?" Saki said, resting her hand on the butt of her prop rifle. "Were you watching us with those X-ray goggles?" Her warmth and concern for Mari had completely vanished.

"No!" Mari insisted. "No, I promise, Saki-chan. I would never do that to you! I swear, I only--" She cut herself off, fearing incriminating herself more than she already had, and blushed deeply. The words 'I would never do that to you' rang through her head. If she was willing to spy on her closest friends using the X-ray spectacles, then why wouldn't she be willing to spy on Saki?

Corinne crept up behind Mari, resting her chin on the blonde's shoulder. "'I only' what, Marigold?" she said. "What was this 'only' thing that you did? I can keep a secret, you know." She flicked the switch again on the glasses, and Mari could feel the woman looking down at her body-- she covered her chest with one arm as she went cherry-red from head to toe.

Marigold didn't want to admit to Corinne and Saki what she had done. She didn't even want to admit it to herself, she was so ashamed. She stayed quiet, looking down at the floor and biting her lip as the two cosplayers stared at her. Why wouldn't they just leave her alone? She really hadn't looked at them at all with the X-ray goggles, though there was a little part of her that she hated that wished she actually had. "It was nothing," she said.

Saki stepped closer. She loomed large over Marigold, terrifyingly so. When Mari stepped back to get away, Saki followed, and so did Corinne. The two members of the DD Brigade soon backed her into the corner of the bathroom stall. Saki-chan's face was unnervingly blank while Corinne's was colored by amusement and immense satisfaction. "What did you do, Marigold?" Saki said. "You should tell me now. Better to admit it."

"I bet I know," Corinne said. "I bet she was perving on all the different girls at the con. I bet she was just itching for an opportunity to ogle dozens of fit babes in sexy cosplay. She's got such a dirty mind, I bet." It seemed that Corinne was just voicing her own desires now.

"No, no, no! It wasn't like that!" Mari pleaded. She could barely move, her escape route blocked expertly by Saki and Corinne, with Rachel and Tessa backing them up only a few feet behind. Even if Mari was able to get past all the DDs, though, she would still end up in the middle of the convention hall in only her bodysuit, and she couldn't have that. "It was an accident, I promise!" Her voice got a little quieter, and then she added, "At first."

"At first!" Corinne laughed in Mari's face. "I knew it!" she said. "You are just a pervert! Called it! How many girls were you looking at? Dozens? Did you see a hundred naked?"

"It was just my friends, I promise!" Marigold said. She immediately regretted it, though, because she could see the surprise on both Corinne's face and Saki's and she knew that she had said exactly the wrong thing. "I only looked at the BB Brigade," she reiterated, as if that would somehow make her sound better. It didn't.

Saki's mouth curled into a smile.
