Margaret has more ideas

“Well,” Margaret said, “Now that the baby is asleep, let’s go downstairs. I have some things to show you all.”

Gertrude and her posse eagerly followed Margaret while the others had decided to leave. Margaret brought them to a hidden room inside the master bedroom. Inside were a bunch of things. Margaret smiled as she gestured at humiliating images captured of Cynthia all of which were taken on her 18th birthday.

One of them showed Cynthia waking up in the middle of the night with soaked sheets. Margaret smiled as she showed the security clip which showed Cynthia scrambling to hide her sheets, praying that she wouldn’t get caught. It also showed the moment Cynthia snuck out of the house. “She thought she was being subtle,” Margaret said. “But I saw it all. And I want her punished. And you Gertrude, seem to be the best at that.”

“I’ll do whatever you ask of me,” Gertrude said. “I could very easily spread that footage and the stuff captured tonight and put it all over the internet. Everyone will know the baby that Cynthia is.”

“That would be excellent, however, my main want is actually… a babysitter. I have work of my own to do and I can’t be looking after Cynthia anymore,” Margaret said. “So you’ll be in charge of her. And I’m going to give you this punishment book. Just to give you ideas of what to do and the rules she will follow.”

Gertrude took the book beaming as she started flipping through. It was in great detail of different rules and punishments. “Wow, this is quite thorough,” Gertrude said.

“I’ll leave you, Gertrude, in charge of dealing it. In fact,” Margaret said. “How would you like to live here for the time being? You’ll be in charge, and I’ll pay you handsomely.”

Gertrude smiled and exchanged looks with her posse. “I would love that,” Gertrude said. “Cynthia and I will have some quality time together it seems. I guess we’ll start in the morning.”
