Margaret, a 27 year old Grad Student

Margaret turned her eyes away and blushed. Something like this had never, ever happened to her! It was a nightmare, all a living, breathing nightmare. Sometimes she still closed her eyes and shook her head, desperately hoping to wake up, late for class.

But to no avail. For the first time she was glad her father wasn't around, he would have never voiced his shame, but she knew he would have been deeply disappointed in her legal troubles. She had always been so mature, and level headed. Now her mugshot had been splashd all over the BUSTED section of the local penny-saver and the college was talking about expulsion!

With a deep breath, and ready to accept whatever came her way, Margaret just hoped her step-mother would allow her to continue her studies, and that it wouldn't be too difficult living with her.
