Marcus Steps Up His Play

I take a long sip of my cocktail it tastes strange but pretty good. Marcus sets out the pool balls with the triangle and gets the white ball placed to break.

“Ah, I quite liked that cocktail actually. Good choice” I say while re-chalking my cue and he does the same.

“Oh why thank-you, had a feeling it’d be right up your alley” he says subtle yet suggestive. “But down to business” with that he pulls out the same coin from earlier “I’m guessing your tails again cutie?” he asks turning the coin, ready to toss.

I nod with a smile.

With a metallic ring his coin goes spiralling into the air before coming back down for him to catch with practised ease. Smirking, he displays the coin for the crowd to see. “heads it is. Time to get cracking."

At that he lines up his shot and sends the cue ball sailing into the triangle. That distinctive clink rolls out but louder this time as he clearly puts more power into it. The triangle splinters off in too many directions to keep track of. But the one I notice is a blue spot that pops into one of the holes. Marcus doesn’t give off a triumphant whoop this time but instead a slight smile. He’s clearly instilling a sense of calm on himself.

Unlike the previous game Marcus is much more focused. He doesn’t let up the pressure after getting an early lead. I can’t help but wonder if he deliberately went easy on me so I’d be cocky enough to accept this bet. Or it could be that he has enough motivation to win this time. Nothing provides incentive quite like a tight ass.
