Managing the situation

Diana felt her voice catch in her throat as she tried to figure out what to do. The worlds best reporter was standing there, with a camera, staring at her... naked. 'Gods, I hope that's not live' Diana thought. While they would no doubt censor her private parts, she would still undoubtedly be naked. Everyone would know.

"Can you talk to her?" Diana pleaded with Clark hoping his special relationship with Lois could help.

"I can try but once Lois gets a whiff of a story, she doesn't stop." Clark said before speeding over to Lois. After a moment's hesitation, Diana followed over not wanting to watch from the sidelines.

"Hello there" Lois said surprised that Wonder Woman would talk to a reporter in her current state. Diana fought the urge to cover herself, knowing that doing so now would just make her look weaker.

"Hello Lois," Diana said politely. "That's not live, is it?"

"No, it's just recording footage for our show tonight." Diana breathed a sigh of relief, for once the Gods had mercy.

"Listen Lois" Clark spoke up at last. "You can't air this."

"What, why?" Lois said surprised.

"Um... because I'm naked" Diana said.

"We'll censor it out" Lois replied.

"That's not the issue. I can't operate as a hero if everyone knows about this."

"Why are you even naked to begin with?" Lois asked as if this was an interview.

"It's a long story" Diana sighed. "But I don't want the whole world seeing me like this."

"Why not? You don't seem embarrassed, you're not even covering."

It finally clicked with Diana that she was still standing naked in the ruined street arguing with a reporter. Since she wasn't making much progress with Lois, she decided to go find her clothes instead.

"Can you handle this?" She whispered to Clark "I've got to go find my clothes."

"I'll try but you know how Lois gets" He replied still trying hard not to look below her neck.

Diana appreciated the gesture but still felt concern over Lois' story. Taking to the air much quicker than usual Diana retraced her steps back to where the fight began. After some time, Diana managed to find the building she had been thrown into and stripped off but when she went to where she left her outfit she saw nothing but rubble and dust.

Someone had taken her clothes.
