Malice takes over

It's evening, and Reed, Ben, and Johnny enter the living room where they can see Sue watching TV

Johnny: We talked about this Reed. Go apologise

Reed: You're right

Reed approaches Sue

Reed: Hey sweetheart

Sue looks at Reed

Sue: Well well, if it isn't my husband, finally remember that I exist

Reed: I'm here to apologize

Sue: You are? And for what exactly

Reed: Because you're mad at me

Sue: And why am I mad at you

Reed: You know why

Sue: Of course I fucking know why, but do you know why

Reed: Because I took you and our relationship for granted, I should have involved you in discussing me working on the cure during our date night

Sue doesn't say anything

Reed: Do you accept my apology

Sue: Did you come up with that yourself, or should I thank Johnny or Ben instead

Reed: umh

Sue: unbelievable

Reed: Doesn't the intention count

Sue: It does, but the fact that you had to be told what to say to me is concerning. We are far from good, you're still in the doghouse

Johnny: I'm sorry sis, I thought it would help

Sue: I'm not blaming you or Ben, but Reed needs to figure this out by him self, I think you can do that, right

Reed: How about I bring you breakfast in bed tomorrow

Sue: That would be a start, I take it you remember my favorite breakfast dish

Reed: I do

Ben: Well then, shall we eat? I'm starving

Sue: I've already eaten

Johnny: It's not just that sis, we need to give an answer to Warden Incorporated first thing tomorrow

Sue: Oh right, our 7 days are up

Sue: Let's discuss it here, I'm quite comfortable here

Reed: Sure, we can eat later

The rest of the team sits down

Reed: Well then, I think we first need to discuss where everybody stands on the subject of joining Warden Incorporated or not

Ben: If we don't join, we'll either become illegal vigilantes as per the new law, or we'll have to quit

Johnny: I'm for joining, I love what we do, and I don't want to stop, and Gwen told me about all the good she has done, and I want to be like her

Ben: Do you want to be like her or be with her

Sue: What's that supposed to mean

Ben: Johnny was staring at Gwen's cleavage while she was talking to us

Sue: Oh come on Johnny, don't be a creep, Miles has just died

Johnny: I apologized and she said she didn't mind

Reed: Alright, moving on, what about you Ben

Ben: I know you don't want to hear this, but I want to be normal again. If joining Warden Incorporated makes that happen, I'm all for it

Reed: I know

Johnny: Don't be so down, Reed

Reed: How can I not be, there further along with it than me

Johnny: If we join, you can help them with the cure. It will most likely be done faster if you do that

Reed: So it's a tie then, you two are for joining, while Sue and I are against it

Sue: Actually, I changed my mind

Reed: What, since when

Sue: Look at this

Sue grabs her phone and shows a news report from a couple of hours ago

reporter: A fire broke out in this apartment complex 15 minutes ago, trapping 38 people inside in the flames. This included small children, thankfully, Spider-Woman showed up and saved all the trapped civilians. Is there anything you want to tell the city spider-woman

Gwen: I'm just glad that everybody is safe. The civilians will be transported to a temporary home where they can live until the apartment complex is safe to live in again, or a new home if it's revealed that apartment complex is too dangerous to live in again, Warden Incorporated will take care of them, you have my word, tehy won't have to fear that the'll end up on the street

Little girl: Excuse me, Spider-woman, here this is for you

The little girl hands over her teddy bear to Gwen

Gwen: What is this

Little girl: It's my teddy bear, you can have it as a thank you for saving me

Gwen: I'm honored, but this belongs to you, I want you to keep it close, and remember that as long as you're in this city, I'll always be here for you

The little girls start to cry and give Gwen a hug

Little Girl: t-thank you

Gwen: No, thank you for believing in me

Reporter: As you can see everything is under control here, I won't keep you from your work, Spider-Woman, since I'm sure you have better things to do

The news report ends

Sue: I miss that, I want to help people again. Don't get me wrong, I don't trust what was his name again

Reed: Aiden

Sue: Right Aiden, I don't trust him, but I want to help people again. I've been going insane here. Both Gwen and Mayor Rio trust him, so I'm ready to give him the benefit of the doubt

Reed: It seems I'm outnumbered. I'll let him know our answer tomorrow morning. Let's hope we don't come to regret this

Sue: I'm going to bed, I'll see you all tomorrow

Johnny and Ben: goodnight

Reed: I'll bring your breakfast around 8:00 AM

Sue: See you then

Sue goes to bed and wakes up in a dark place

Sue: Where am I

She tries to move but finds herself chained down

Sue: N-NO THESE ARE THE MENTAL CHAINS THAT KEPT MALICE SEALED AWAY

Malice: Right you are, only now they'll keep you sealed away

Sue looks up and sees her alter ego standing in front of her

Sue: How is this possible

Malice: who knows, i can't tell what's going on outside of this place, all i know is that your mental control over me has became almost non existent, and now i'm teh one who's in control, soon i'll wake up in the real world and you'll be stuck here just like i have been for god knows how long

Sue: Don't do this

Malice: Oh, but I'm going to, once I get out there, I'm going to destroy your reputation and the reputation of your pathetic little team, so even if you are able to seal me away again, you will never be seen as a hero again

Malice: goodbye

Sue: NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Malice disappears, leaving Sue all alone

the next morning

Reed: Sue, wake u. I brought you breakfast

Reed puts down the breakfast on the other side of the bed and starts grabbing some fresh clothes for Sue

But it's not Sue who wakes up, it's Malice

Reed turns back to Sue and drops her fresh clothes in shock when he sees what she looks like

Malice: Good morning husband
