Male

Twilight was quickly able to identify his sex by finding his member, Wormon felt pretty awkward about his new partner starring down at his manhood so closely.

"Ok so you're a boy" Twilight observed.

"Couldn't you just ask me that Twilight? I think I would have prefered that over this" Wormon commented making Twilight finally realized that she was upsetting her new friend.

Now Twilight was the one blushing in discomfort as she turned Wormon around and let him down gently "sorry, I didn't expect you to care, I have a pet dog that's well always with his balls hanging around and doesn't care but I guess I shouldn't had assumed you would be the same.

"Well of course I wouldn't I'm not a pet" Wormon responded a bit offended at the comparision.

"oh no of course I didn't meant you were, I meant that you were an animal like him" Twilight responded trying to fix the situation, she's not the best at socializing and it was showing.

"I'm not an animal either, I'm a digimon" Wormon said starting to get annoyed.

"What's a digimon?" Twilight ask starting to feel dumb.

Wormon's eye opened widely shocked at Twilight's ignorance, he couldn't believe his partner didn't even knew about his kind "Wow, you really don't know? wow now I understand why you're so clueless no offense" Wormon said understanding Twilight's position better now.

"none taken, but I actually love learning new things, if you could explain me about what you're I would appreciate it greatly" Twilight said sitting down in front of Wormon like a student waiting for a lesson from a teacher.

Wormon was now surprised, nobody had ever looked up to him as a source of wisdom before, he thinks he likes it.

"oh well sure Twilight I'll be happy to, well you see, to begin with Digimon is short for Digital monster..."
