Making a bet

Brooke was at cheerleading practice when one of the senior squad members approached her. “Hey, Brooke,” Mackenzie said.

“Mack,” Brooke said looking her up and down. “What do you want? We need to start practice.”

“Yeah, but I’m not sure why they chose you to be head,” Mackenzie said. “It should have been me.”

Brooke raised an eyebrow. “You? Cheerleader captain? Please. I earned my spot,” Brooke said.

“Then how about a little competition,” Mackenzie said. “A race. Seeing as the cheerleader captain should be the fastest. One lap around the track. Whoever wins gets to be captain.”

Brooke rolled her eyes. “And what if I win? I’m already captain,” Brooke said. “How about if I win you have to run around the school butt ass naked and tell everyone that I’m better than you.”

Mackenzie smirked. “Alright, but if I win, not only do I become cheerleader captain but you must do the same thing.”

“Deal,” Brooke said.

Mackenzie and Brooke lined up at the start of the line the other girls lined up to watch while the other senior girl Jodie set up to judge. “On your mark, get set, go!” Jodie yelled.

The girls took off running sprinting around the track.
