Chapter 8 by Zeebop Zeebop

What is Ivy's formula doing to Lois Lane?

Making Lois Like Poison Ivy

Green toxins flowed through Lois Lane's veins...seeped into her cells. The reporter, bound and unable to resist, could not see as her flesh near the injection sites paled and took on a slight green tint, identical to Ivy's own...and slowly began to spread out, as the veins darkened. To the reporter, it felt as though her veins were being filled with sap. Her body felt increasingly sluggish...flashes of strange thoughts burst into her head...and Ivy slipped into monologue as she observed the changes in the reporter's form.

"I am in my sere and yellow leaf, Lois. I know I don't look like it, but I am dying...all those years of experimentation, those chemicals...I didn't find out about the cancer until it was too late. Chemotherapy is useless; my cells are immune to their poisons...and it is too widespread for radiation or surgery to be a viable option. Nor do I have any heir of my body; no wild oats to spread, to seeds to bear. Yet the life of a plant is not measured in a single form...there is always...grafting."

Ivy stood behind the reporter's head now, the long pale limbs extended over Lois Lane's face. Strong fingers grasped the reporter's breasts and began to squeeze and explore the soft masses. Ivy's lips broke into a smile as the massage helped the toxins spread, the pink nipples beginning to shift to a pale, delicate green.

"All I needed was someone with compatible biochemistry. Someone like myself. That's what you're becoming Lois. With all my powers...and immunity to poisons and my connection to the Green...but your body is fresh. No cancer. No...infertility. You will be the perfect subject, the end of my experiments."

The villain released the reporter's breasts and knelt over the reporter so that their eyes would meet. Although Lois couldn't see it, the red veins in the corners of her eyeballs were beginning to go green as the toxins spread.

"I will graft my mind onto yours, and your life will feed mine. Together, we will be Poison Liana..."

Lois Lane could not even scream. Could only stare upwards at the madwoman who sought to take over her life and body...and wondered with a shudder if there was anything that could prevent the completion of the terrible plot.

The infusion will take hours. Does anything interrupt the process?
