At school you talk about which parties are supposed to be the coolest and which are most likely to have beer, etc.

After dinner, you look up Lindsay's number and go ahead for the call.

"Hello." You hear Lindsay's voice start in before the first ring finishes.

"Hey is this Lindsay?"

"Yeah, Dan?"

"Yeah. So I asked around and I think that Tobias is going to have the best party." You say trying to sound as cool as possible. "Soooo, what did Winona say?"

"Well she says she'd rather go to the movies this weekend but she's not sure she is up for a big party."

"Oh really," you say with a hint of disappointment.

Lindsay sighs, "She really loves these foreign films. I swear if she didn't drag me to these things, she would be the only one watching them."

"Oh really," you say this time trying to repress signs of interest since you have an eye for Winona.

"But I'm kinda in the mood for a party, and I think she'd be cool if you came to the theater with us, so I'd say it's up to you. What ever you want to do is fine."

You take moment to think about the options before you. On one hand you have a beautiful girl who when intoxicated does anything and remembers nothing; on the other hand, you have a chance to be alone with the same beauty and her raven-haired, athletic, but depressed friend.

Do you go to the movies or the party? The choice is yours.
