Make a trip to Red Rocket

"As far as I know, Sir," Codsworth said after he calmed down and Dick and Nora began constructing a gameplan of what to do. Which only involved looking for people. "The closest place with living humans around is Concord. I've tried to scavenge the stores for new cleaning products a few weeks ago and the people there chased me away with sticks."

"Lovely..." Nora said sarcastically.

"Maybe they just don't like robots?" Dick suggested hopefully.

"They may have thought I was one of the robots that have malfunctioned and just wander around attacking anything in sight," Codsworth added.

"There are robots that just wander around and attack people?" Dick asked in a worried tone.

"Oh, yes," Codsworth replied in a casual tone. "Sadly, some robot's programming couldn't handle the radiation and went rogue."

"So on top of kidnappers and giant roaches, we have to worry about wandering murderous robots?" Nora asked angrily.

"Oh, there is much worse out there than that," Codsworth stated. "There are a multitude of irradiated creatures out there, most of them hostile. There are other types of mutant bugs such as mosquitos and flies, rabid dogs, mole rats, I even saw what looked like a mutant bear once..."

"We get it, Codsworth!" Nora exclaimed. She looked as if she would collapse if he kept going.

"Just make sure you're both armed and careful if you insist on venturing out there, mum." Dick and Nora both grabbed pistols from what was left of the vault security and whatever bits of ammo they could find. They worked well against the giant roaches, but Dick wasn't sure if they would do anything against a bear. "While you two head to Concord, I'll secure the home front!" Codsworth stated proudly. "My sensors did indicate that some pests have moved into the neighborhood recently and it wouldn't do for them to buzz about!" After stating that, Codsworth zoomed forward to the wrecked screaming; "Have at you!"

"Will he be alright?" Dick asked with a concerned tone. Codsworth was the only thing in this world right now that was both from their past life and intact, it would be terrible if he got himself destroyed.

"He's lasted this long..." Nora replied. Without another word, she headed out of Sanctuary Hills, Dick nervously following her with his pistol drawn and ready. He may not be a real soldier, but he was still a decent shot. Nora just trailed forward, she was the most determined to get Shaun back, seeing as how Shaun was not only taken from her arms but she was **** by one of the kidnappers for no reason other than his sick pleasure. This was a lot more personal for her, and Dick couldn't help but worry if her grief would make her do something stupid.

The Goodwins walk up to the ruins of the Red Rocket Truck Stop that was near Sanctuary Hills. It was such a small site on the way for Dick and Nora's day. It was sort of sad to see this place in ruins after passing it so many times. Then they saw something move.
