Make a stop along the way.

"We should stop somewhere to rest... it’s been a long journey and we should hole up somewhere.... Enzo might expect us to be heading to Richard's." You tell Rachael as you reach another bend in the road.

Pausing for a moment Rachael says, "There is an abandoned cabin just north of here off the road and it should be remote enough."

"Perfect, lets head over there before it gets dark, you lead the way." You respond, following her into the forest until you come across a small cabin.

You both wait in the treeline to observe the area. "It looks like nobody has been here for quite some time... looks safe. What do you think?" You ask Rachael.

"I trust it my lord... it used to be a hunting cabin for the local Lord until he was killed in battle. Nobody goes here now, people say his family was killed here and it’s cursed." She says with a bit of fear in her voice.

"You aren't afraid of ghosts are you...?" You tease with a smile, making Rachael smile back at you before responding.

"No... but then again I've never seen any..."

You both sneak up to the cabin and Rachael pushes the door open before peering inside. It is a simple cabin but clearly built for a lord. A fine fireplace with a pot hung over it and your eyes widen at the sight of some potato sacks. Rachael steps inside and looks over at the bed covered in furs. She looks away and says softly, "Oh... looks like there is only one bed..." Biting her lip she looks over at you and stammers, "I'll um... I'll just sleep on the floor..."

"Don't be silly... there is plenty of room for the both of us." You say as you turn her to face you, "Besides... I think we can find a way to pass the time together.”

Rachael blushes a bit before she smiles and surprises you, "I... I would like that..." Leaning in to kiss you before saying, "I'm gonna get some food prepared if you want to start the fire..."

"Sounds perfect..." You say with a smile as you run your hands up her shapely hips.

You both work together to get the fire going and dinner prepared. Noticing her eyes on you as you both sit in the flickering light and enjoy your stew.

"I am surprised..." You say with a smile as you sip from the bowl, "Perhaps its just because I am so hungry but you certainly rival some of my father's chefs."

Smiling a bit Rachael says, "Thanks.... I tried." Pausing before she says, "I have to ask you something..."

"Oh and what's that?" You reply as you set the empty bowl down, sipping on some water.

"I just want to know what you plan to do with me… you know once we arrive at Lord Richard’s” She asks curiously.
