Maja made quiche!

Kristen escorted Sam into the dining room and Sam reluctantly sat herself down in her highchair. It wasn't much higher than the regular dining chairs, but it was padded with a tray that snapped in place.

Rule #11: Babies stay in the highchair until their plates are clean or an adult comes to get them.

As Sam tried to get comfortable, Kristen walked into the kitchen not too far away. Her wife Maja was dressed in similar pajamas as her. She was a few inches taller with blonde hair that she always kept in a braid. Kristen gave her wife a peck on the cheek and wrapped a hand around her waist.

"Something smells great," said Kristen enthusiastically.

"Quiche," said Maja.

While Kristen was a farm girl from Tennessee, Maja was from Sweden. After getting her degree in Architecture in her home country, she came to America when work opportunities led her there and stayed when she met Kristen.

"Soups on," said Maja as she brought a small plate and put it on the tray in front of Sam. She gave her "daughter" a kiss on the cheek as she laid out the silverware in front of her. The plate itself was plastic, the silverware made out of plastic that looked more like they belonged to a child's play set than an actual kitchen. Then again, that was probably the point. If the quiche wasn't so light and fluffy, the plastic knife wouldn't be able to cut anything.

If there was one thing she didn't mind about the Weavers, it was their cooking. Maja was a natural cook and she would often make elaborate little recipes whenever it was her turn. Kristen wasn't too bad, but she handle very little imagination when it came to her ingredients. Sam had offered to cook, but it would require Maja and Kristen to help every step of the way, which would just over-complicate what would have been a simple chore.

Rule #10: Babies cant use stoves, ovens or knives. They could hurt themselves!
