Maisie meets the director.

Another five minutes passed before Dennis Bon actually showed up. In fact, Maisie was very nearly ready to leave-- already getting her purse in order-- when he showed up.

"Maisie!" he said, pushing his head out from the door. It practically gave Maisie a heart attack. "Come on in!" Before she could react, he was gone again, disappearing inside his office. Had he been there the whole time? Was this just a ploy to get in her head?

Maisie took a second, only a second, to catch her breath before she stood up. She adjusted her low-cut black top, making sure her nicest push-up bra was still in place, and took a deep breath. The supermodel slung her purse over her shoulder and walked into Bon's office proudly, long-legged and fierce as all hell.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Maisie," Dennis said. He was already behind his desk again, framed by his huge panorama window, doing something on his computer like there wasn't an A-list lingerie model standing in front of him in the middle of his office. Was this really so routine for him? One of the other girls, Georgie Mager, had been in a Bon movie before, but she hadn't mentioned anything like this. She hadn't talked about the interview at all, actually. "Why don't you take a seat? Let's just rap, no need to get too worked up."

Let's just rap? Who was this guy? Well, he was a guy with billions of dollars of revenue behind him, so Maisie sat.

"So," Dennis said. "ROM Space Knight 2. You in, or you in?"

Maisie blinked. Was it really that easy? "Uh," she stuttered. "Uh, yeah, I'm in!"

Dennis smiled. "I'm so glad to hear that you're in," he said.
