In-Game Biography

"Born with the Mutant ability to create portals that allow her to teleport through the nether realm called Limbo, Illyana Rasputin augmented her natural gifts with powerful sorcery and an arcane sword fueled by souls to become the warrior known as Magik.

As the ruler of Limbo, Magik has been serving as a general in a timeline-spanning war across dimensions, battling malevolent gods and demons. She frequently confers with her Mutant allies on Krakoa, discussing their species' best chances for survival in the wake of the Timestream Entanglement."

The younger sister of fellow X-Man, Colossus, Illyana Rasputin, also going by code name Magik, has had ties to the occult for a while. Her family descends from the mystic Grigory Rasputin and at the age of six, Illyana was kidnapped and brought to the demon filled realm known as Limbo. She was of course rescued by the X-Men after having learned combat and sorcery while in that realm. Due to fluctuations in time, Illyana grew older while in Limbo despite not much time passing by on Earth. By the time she escaped, Illyana was no a teenager and was accepted onto the X-Men. As the mutant Magik, Illyana has the ability to create portals known as Stepping Discs which allow her and anyone she allows to travel anywhere across the multiverse. With the help of sorcery to amplify attacks or summon demons, Magik is an **** to be reconned with, especially with her massive Soulsword in hand. This version of Illyana is the queen of Limbo while also still continuing her duties as an X-Man. With all dimensions at stake due to the Timestream Entanglement, Illyana finds herself trying to find a solution to this threat as reality threatens to crumble.
