Magical arts: Geodbolt
You decided to speak of your magical arts, specifically Geodbolt, a useful magic that allows the wielder to strike targets from a distance with a bolt of fire. Its tremendous utility both in battle or simply when called to light a fire made it a favorite among Missionaire’s learned soldiers. It took a fair bit of study, making it inaccessible to the lower classes, but you’d had plenty of time to master it.
“Yes, indeed. Geodbolt will serve you well amongst the saintesses. The demon army is filled with everything from mobile imps to winged wyverns. Do not let them escape your justice. However, do you recall the limitations of Geodbolt?” the recruit commander questioned, raising an eyebrow.
You did. Ordinary townsfolk probably wouldn’t know this weakness, nor would you do well to sew fear among them, but the protectors of Missionaire had to stay informed. The truth: many among the demons’ numbers have developed thick hides or counter-spells to fight back against the Geodbolt. Only a focused, precision strike would be likely to work. Wild bolts under duress would not find purchase when used against such foes.
“Good. It is still a powerful tool in your arsenal, but when facing down an especially might foe, consider your tactics carefully.”
